IT Manager

Work Responsibilities
- Strategy Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute the factory’s IT strategy in line with corporate goals to achieve business objectives.
- Manage IT infrastructure to ensure stability and security.
- Evaluate existing systems and propose optimization solutions to drive digital transformation.
- Team Management & Collaboration:
- Manage the IT team, assign tasks, and oversee performance.
- Recruit, train team members, and evaluate performance to enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide IT technical support for business needs.
- Manage relationships with external software and hardware vendors.
- Project Management:
- Lead IT projects to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.
- Manage and evaluate project vendors.
- Lead the IT construction of the new factory to ensure that all IT functions are running on schedule.
- System Operations & Security Compliance Management:
- Formulate information security policies to prevent cyber attacks and data leaks, and prevent information security incidents.
- Ensure stable operation of factory IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, hardware).
- Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of core systems such as ERP and MES etc.
- Ensure compliance (ISO 9000, GDPR, ISO27001, etc.), ensuring that IT systems comply with local Brazilian laws and regulations (such as the LGPD data protection law) and industry standards.
- Implement data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans, conducting regular security checks and drills.
- Conduct regular employee security awareness training.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage annual IT budgets, controlling procurement costs.
- Evaluate IT ROI to prevent resource waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, major in computer science, information technology, software engineering, information management or related majors is preferred.
- 5+ years of IT experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years in management; familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes; experience in multinational or Brazilian factories preferred.
- Proficient in network architecture, database management, cybersecurity, and cloud computing; experienced in ERP/MES/OA system implementation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of IT frameworks and data compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD).
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and explaining technical issues to non-technical staff.

About the Role
