A Day In The Life
- The Amazon Catalog Management Strategist is responsible for owning the execution and performance of Amazon & online retail organic / catalog management strategy within their book of business. They are oriented towards the clients' business success, tying their efforts to the greater business goals. They are self-starters, adept problem solvers, and autonomously own their responsibilities. The Strategist works hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of their service within the broader go-to-market plan of the brands they work with. They are responsible for owning execution, tracking, reporting, and client communication of catalog updates, promotional strategy, issue resolution / case management, online retail SEO and CRO strategy, sometimes with the support of a Specialist. The Strategist is excellent at providing insights and forward thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and has a strong understanding of organic levers to pull to drive & sustain performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Amazon and/or online retail product catalog & organic presence of clients across various business types, sizes, and industries, including daily optimizations / fixes, high-level planning, and strategic pivots
- Provide intelligent analysis, interpretation, and action plans based on performance data from Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, & other online retail platforms, tying into overall retail business performance
- Participate and engage in weekly department scrums and training sessions to further channel knowledge
- Continuously seek to improve performance & business impact against client goals
- Maintain frequent and excellent communication both on internal agency teams and externally with assigned clients
- Participate in the development process for new department training materials
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
- Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
Role Requirements
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1-2 years in agency setting preferred
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon / online retail catalog management
Significant organic / catalog management experience in one or more of the following platforms:
Amazon Seller Central
- Amazon Vendor Central
Walmart Seller Central
Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
- Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to delegate effectively

Responsibilities:
As part of the Climate and Environment team, this newsperson will cover many topics related to the Amazon, including but not limited to legal and illegal mining forest cutting, logging, fishing and raising of cattle, wildfires, changes in carbon dioxide emissions from deforestation, Indigenous peoples and others who live in the Amazon, government policies and enforcement, nongovernmental organizations and endemic species and habitats.
