About the RoleWe’re hiring a remote B2B Email Marketing & Automation Specialist to architect and execute intelligent programs that transform how we nurture leads, onboard partners, and drive conversions globally.

This position reports directly to the Head of Demand Generation.
You'll be doing things like:
- Email Journey Architecture: Create multi-step email journeys tailored to lifecycle stage, partner type, and behaviour triggers using CRM segmentation and lead scoring; build automated sequences that guide prospects from awareness to consideration; design trigger-based workflows that respond to specific prospect actions
- Top of Funnel Nurture Campaigns: Build and manage email workflows in Zoho Campaigns with seamless CRM integration; set up custom landing pages for measurement and attribution; coordinate email timing with social media calendars for consistent cross-channel messaging; orchestrate 7-touchpoint conversion journeys across multiple teams
- Mid to Bottom Funnel Conversion Flows: Deploy onboarding journeys for new leads and partners with dynamic content personalized by region and product; create pre-conversion sequences that provide all information needed to convert; develop activation flows that move qualified leads toward sales conversations; create re-engagement sequences for dormant prospects
- Email Strategy & Stakeholder Management: Evaluate ad-hoc requests from product, brand, and partner teams for optimal audience targeting; prevent email oversaturation by tracking recent contact history; make strategic timing decisions to avoid message conflicts; collaborate with Campaign Strategist, Content, Regional Pods, and Automation teams
- Performance Analytics & Optimization: Analyze email metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) to refine content and cadence; use AI tools to test subject lines, body copy, and CTAs; conduct monthly experiments with documented hypotheses and results; maintain clear attribution in CRM dashboards
- Deliverability & Compliance Management: Monitor audience health and manage bounce rules and opt-outs; maintain GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CAN-SPAM compliance; ensure list hygiene and sender reputation; implement suppression logic for deliverability
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or lead nurture, preferably in B2B SaaS, martech, or channel-led environments.
- Proficiency in email platforms (Zoho Campaigns preferred; HubSpot, Marketo, ActiveCampaign acceptable) with CRM integration experience

The full base pay range is provided below. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Associate to help us deepen relationships with our customers and drive long-term growth. You’ll be responsible for executing and optimizing our email and SMS marketing programs, collaborating with creative and digital teams to enhance the customer experience, and supporting broader retention initiatives and experimentation across channels.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thrives in fast-paced DTC environments, loves digging into data, and knows how to bring ideas to life with precision and speed.
What You’ll DoEmail & SMS Marketing
- Own day-to-day execution and optimization of all email and SMS campaigns using Klaviyo and Wunderkind
- Develop segmentation, flows, and automation strategies to improve retention and drive revenue
Partner with Creative to brief, review, and refine messaging that aligns with our voice and goals
Implement A/B tests and performance enhancements to boost open rates, CTOR, and conversions - Ensure deliverability, compliance, and legal adherence for both channels
Retention Strategy & Project Management
- Manage a robust campaign calendar, coordinating with Merch, Creative, and Digital Product teams
- Help execute and project manage homepage updates, lifecycle experiments, and new retention channel tests
Maintain strong relationships with external vendors (e.g. ESPs, SMS partners, freelancers)
Identify customer lifecycle gaps and propose solutions rooted in data
Data & Reporting
- Analyze channel performance and provide actionable insights to optimize campaign effectiveness
- Maintain dashboards and take ownership of interpreting and applying findings
- Surface opportunities to improve customer engagement, drive second purchases, and reduce churn
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Creative (copy/design) to deliver on-brand, high-converting messaging
- Collaborate with Merch and Digital Product to ensure alignment across product pushes and onsite experience
Bring a customer-first mindset to cross-team conversations, advocating for relevance and clarity in every touchpoint
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a strong focus on email/SMS retention
- Proven in-house experience at one or more high-growth DTC brands (retail, apparel, CPG preferred)
- Expert in Klaviyo and comfortable working with tools like Shopify, Wunderkind, and Google Analytics
- Analytical and resourceful — you can interpret data, build a brief, and ship improvements without hand-holding
A self-starter who surfaces problems and offers solutions
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills - Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, collaborating cross-functionally, and working quickly under pressure
