Project Operations Director

You will bring order and discipline to our Sales and Marketing teams, turning chaos into clarity and performance by building processes, clean data, and real accountability. You will oversee team performance, own HubSpot at an admin level, implement corrective action plans, analyse dips using AI tools, and create a Sales Playbook.

You will also bring strong management and process discipline to Marketing, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery. You will manage budget, track ROI on every campaign, and align organic marketing with paid media buying for maximum impact.

To succeed in this role, you must be fluent in English, have hands-on systems implementation skills, exceptional process design and improvement skills, strong data analysis ability, excellent leadership and communication skills, and thrive in high-pace environments.

Job Overview

• Background:
• We offer consulting services to clients through education and implementation of TPM and JIPM methodologies and tools.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in TPM based on JIPM methodology is required.
• Ability to transfer knowledge through good written and oral communication skills is essential.
• A strong understanding of manufacturing and the ability to communicate with all levels in an organization is necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities:

• The role involves supporting internal and external plants/locations simultaneously.

• External Client Interface Role:
• Deliver educational materials to clients to effectively communicate the principles of the Performance System.
• Identify client opportunities and provide implementation solutions as a leader.
• Teach, coach, and facilitate the client's movement through implementation obstacles.
• Track progress (implementation and financial) of the client against the implementation timeline and develop contingency/recovery plans to achieve results.
• Conduct audits to ensure education is being effectively transferred to the client.

• Internal Client Role:
• Provide clear, concise, and direct feedback to leadership on successes and challenges during implementations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process and offerings by identifying best practices.
• Develop new techniques and product offerings for the division.

This role requires a dynamic professional who can manage complex projects and foster strong relationships across multiple business units and regions, ensuring Medtronic's continued growth and success in the market, collaborating closely with the Regional Director of Process Improvement & Project Management Office to ensure that all strategic projects are on track to meet both business and internal objectives. You will act leading multidisciplinary teams related to project scope but will not have direct reports. The position is located in Latam (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina or Chile) and follows a hybrid working model.

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic projects that enhance Medtronic's market position
• Partner with the LATAM senior leadership team to drive collaboration and ensure that each project supports the broader business goals, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates
• Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they are executed within the agreed timelines and budgets, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations to update senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes
• Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the LATAM region driving revenue and market share growth across Medtronic's diverse portfolio

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, and related areas
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in consulting and / or program or project management, preferably in a corporate setting and large enterprises

Familiarity with Agile and / or Lean Management methodologies and frameworks, and with Project Management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Fluency in Portuguese and / or Spanish, both verbal and written and in English, as a mandatory second language
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management

Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and IT infrastructure; certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), Lean Six-Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.), ICAgile; experience working in the healthcare or medical device industry managing projects across different geographical regions and cultures.

This role leads enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and improve user experience across the People & Capability (P&C) function. This position combines strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and program execution to deliver measurable business value.

• Program & Portfolio Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives. Build and manage integrated project plans, ensuring alignment with the broader P&C roadmap and business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Technology, Legal, Risk, Finance, Global Business Services, and P&C leadership to coordinate efforts, manage dependencies, and resolve roadblocks across workstreams.
• Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms (dashboards, scorecards, executive briefings) to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and steering committees.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; able to synthesize complex data to drive decisions and actions.
