Tshemba offers its volunteers free, safe and secure accommodation at its Volunteer Lodge, situated in Moditlo Private Game Reserve. The Lodge serves as a welcome off-duty refuge where like-minded healthcare providers relax after an intense day of work. Here they exchange ideas, create healthcare solutions for daily challenges faced and connect with peers from all over the world, all the while taking in the magnificent natural surroundings.
In your role as a volunteer doctor you can offer:
- direct or indirect patient care in various departments of a public hospital and/or surrounding clinics
- postgraduate support to medical staff in training
- skills development and/or formal teaching for local staff
- administrative or management support, including clinical and quality improvement projects
- develop health interventions and protocols alongside local staff
Our clinical team will work with you to develop a personalized volunteer schedule that combines your skills and experience with the needs of various hospital departments and clinics in the area.
Length of placement:
- Currently, volunteer placement lengths are flexible based on your area of expertise. We recommend a minimum of 8 weeks for generalist international volunteers and can negotiate shorter stays for specialists. We will work with you to determine where you will be placed and how long your stay will be to have maximum impact.

- A current license in good standing from your medical regulatory body

Purpose Of The Role/ Key Activities/ Accountabilities
- Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to manage and grow the territory

JOB SUMMARYThe Territory Manager identifies all prospects in an assigned territory, evaluating the resources needed to develop business relationships. This role develops sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts, selling approved products and services. The Territory Manager works strategically with customers to provide solutions to meet their material handling needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Arranges appointments with customers which include pre-arranged appointments or cold calls.
- Develops proposals in accordance with company standards and presents them to customers, reviewing them in detail.
- Coordinates the presentation of all new truck proposals in person to potential customers.
- Engages customers by adapting to their buying style, incorporating proven sales techniques and a consultative approach to effectively demonstrate our material handling solutions.
- Collaborates with other internal department staff members as needed, working closely with all company divisions to develop cross-selling strategies and ensure a great customer experience.
- Maintains regular communication with service to resolve and troubleshoot customer issues as quickly as possible.
- Assesses potential customers for Forklifts Group services and involves them as needed.
- Initiates and approves all documentation to complete sales orders.
- Meets customer expectations for continued support and follow-up after sales are final to include delivery of truck, signing of delivery report, truck orientation, service schedules, etc.
- Facilitates demonstrations of material handling solutions as needed with ongoing on-site follow-ups throughout the demo time period.
- Consistently works toward acquiring new business by generating leads, following up on them, and networking through current customers.
- Attends team meetings to review department goals and strategies as required.

Regional Technical Service Manager, Poultry (LATAM & Africa)The Regional Technical Service Manager (TSM) focuses on Latin America & Africa and will operate within the marketing department. The Regional TSM is responsible for the marketing, technical and scientific support of the regional marketing and sales teams regarding our global poultry vaccine platforms. As part of a global team you contribute to strategically drive and support Kemin’s vaccine business across the globe by leveraging and scaling the local Kemin expertise and insights on a global scale.
Responsibilities- Responsible for leading our poultry vaccine platforms in the LATAM and Africa regions.
- Drive the strategic marketing and technical support for our poultry vaccine platforms.
- Analyze market developments and shares in LATAM and Africa and provide a strategy to maintain or reach the Top 10 players for the key market segments in which we participate.
- Develop robust regional technical and marketing plans.
- Design and implement the “Go to Market” strategy at a regional level for LATAM and Africa.
- Oversee Brand life cycles from a strategic planning perspective and work on “Renovation” or “Innovation” to extend the product life cycle, including the planning of field studies to support these efforts within the regions and product launching activities.
- Actively work on publications and publication strategies relevant to the regions.

- Translate relevant regional field issues and customer challenges in poultry health into solutions to support our local sales, technical, and marketing teams and ultimately our customers.
- Participate in and attend local and regional exhibitions, seminars, trainings, and workshops within LATAM and Africa.
- Support R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams where needed, by collecting technical information and trial results from the regions.
- University degree in Veterinary Medicine, ideally with a specialization in poultry health.
- Field experience managing the health status of poultry, preferably with experience in the LATAM and/or Africa markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an understanding of customer needs in diverse cultural contexts.
- Excellent writing skills (English) and the ability to provide adequate synthesis.
- A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and a sense of urgency.
- Experience working effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French is highly desirable to effectively cover the LATAM and Africa regions.
- A track record in regional technical or marketing management.
