Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.
YOUR ROLE:
Review and refine content for websites, email and other digital platforms. Ensure grammar spelling and style are accurate and consistent. Asking questions and making suggestions are part of the process and we need analytical thinkers to raise concerns while in the review stages of the project. Collaborate with writers, designers, and project managers to maintain brand voice and deliver clear, polished messaging. This is a FAST-PACED environment where we must keep an eye on details, deadlines and help content stand out.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proofread all materials to be used for advertising purposes for correct spelling, adherence to grammatical rules and adherence to backup copy.
- Maintain client-mandated guidelines.
- Assist in copy editing all materials to be used for marketing purposes for clarity of expression, continuity of writing within a package and from campaign to campaign.
- Partner with Copy Editing Lead in completing the evening’s work or preparing work for review in the morning.
- Opportunity for training with QA Specialist to learn online interactive quality control processes for web banners, landing pages and emails.
- Demonstrates an informed and thoughtful POV
- Proactively tracks trends in business and market place relevant to Client business
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years experience in any marketing discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This range is specific to Dallas and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position. This role is for an editor who can turn good stories into great ones. If you love sports and thrive in fast-paced environments where accuracy and timeliness matter, you’ll fit right in. You’ll ensure our sports content is top-notch, accessible, and widely seen.
Responsibilities- Polish and publish stories written by betting analysts, ensuring accuracy, strong structure, and engaging prose.
- Support sport leads by managing editorial workflows — building files, scheduling stories, and helping writers elevate their work.
- Grow leadership potential by owning a sport vertical and steering its content strategy.
- Jump in wherever needed, especially during peak sports seasons like football, to support editors and keep operations running smoothly.
- 3+ years in sports content, journalism, or digital editing.
- Strong editing and headline-writing skills, especially under deadline pressure.
- Comfortable with CMS platforms and editorial planning tools.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communicator who collaborates with internal teams and freelance contributors.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and quick to learn new tools and systems.
- Passion for sports betting and familiarity with the North American market.
- Familiarity with digital publishing metrics and content performance tracking.
- Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, Moz, or SEMrush.
- English resumes only.
You’ll work with William Boor, Senior Content Manager, who values collaboration, clean copy, and a newsroom culture that blends hustle with curiosity.
First 90 Days- 30 days: Train on editorial processes and content management systems.
- 60 days: Understand the business, products, and how content fits in.
- 90 days: Support senior editors and sport leads during busy seasons (e.g., football).
