Wabtec is looking for a new member to join our Global Platform Operations in a team of engineers based in North Americas. Our ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Windows server environment and specifically with knowledge in Hyper V, VMware, Veeam, Server Operating Systems, and Citrix. The successful candidate will have a track record of partnering with technical teams to achieve continuous improvement across our various compute platforms.
**What do we want to know about you?**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or "STEM" majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience.
+ Microsoft Windows Server 2016,2019 and 2022 configuration, patching, and security hardening experience.
+ Knowledge of CITRIX Technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, VDA, VDI).
+ Proven experience in an enterprise-scale engineering or relevant discipline.
+ Troubleshooting Skills for Hardware, Software and Networking Issues.
+ Proficient with Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, HyperV).
+ CVE vulnerability remediation experience.
+ Experience with automating and scripting tasks .
+ Understanding of Basic Networking Concept (TCPI/IP, DNS, DHCP).
+ Experience with Active Directory and User Management.
+ Experience with ticketing and change request processes.
+ Analytical approach to solve complex problems in a complex, large-scale, and multi datacenter environments.
+ Ability to communicate with many IT and non-IT colleagues internationally.

**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Troubleshooting incident and complex problems to ensure customer SLAs are met.
+ Collaborate with Senior IT Staff to optimize server infrastructure performance and assure security in a high availability environment.
+ Support the installation, configuration, and operation of the Windows server environment.
+ Participate in the application of security patches.
+ Collaborate with Cyber team to track and resolve all security vulnerability findings within appropriate timeframes.
+ Contribute to the documentation of our standard procedure.
+ Manage technical projects or programs (renewal of hardware, upgrades of OS and software, integration of external IT environment to our standard, etc.).
+ Contribute to the completeness of our ITIL, and integrity of Infrastructure tools.
+ Contribute to the migration of remote workloads to the cloud or data centers
+ Participate in the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in operational support
+ Other duties as assigned

As the **Brazil Windows Category Manager,** you will play a critical role in protecting and growing Windows share. You will run the Windows category in Brazil, including programs and investments, and act as the face of the Windows Consumer Category with OEMs, silicon partners, and retailers. You will work closely with local and global partners to ensure the right Windows devices are available at the right time, in the right channels, and with the right value proposition to win consumer preference. - Aplicação de atualizações de segurança recomendadas pelos fabricantes dos sistemas operacionais mantendo a estabilidade e correto funcionamento dos serviços hospedados;
- Assegurar que os dados sejam devidamene armazenados em cópias de segurança (backup), garantindo que estes possam ser restaurados em caso de falhas no ambiente; Atuação em solicitações e alertas de incidentes, executando soluções de contorno e propondo soluções definitivas;
- Configuração de coleta de dados de performance via Perfmon dos principais indicadores (Disk IO, memória, processamento, etc.);
- Capacity planning de ambientes de servidores Windows;
- Elaboração de rotinas em arquivos de lote (batch), VBS e Power Shell para automação de tarefas/administração dos servidores Windows;
- Elaboração de documentação sobre servidores, serviços e ambientes de rede no qual os servidores estão inseridos, detalhando o funcionamento dos serviços e apresentando as topologias correspondentes;
- Implementação do serviço Microsoft NLB para balanceamento de carga;
- Instalação, Configuração e Desativação de Servidores e recursos de software;
- Instalação, configuração e manutenção dos serviços: DHCP, DNS, IIS, WSUS, Print Server, Microsoft Failover Clustering e AD CS;
- Monitoramento do ambiente e análise do desempenho.

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments hosted in Microsoft Azure. Provision, configure, and monitor Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) using the Azure Portal and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform). Ensure security hardening and compliance through patching, health checks, and vulnerability remediation. Collaborate within the Virtual Machine squad to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. Troubleshoot complex OS-level issues and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
There's never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll identify systemic issues and proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Operate effectively in both Agile and traditional project delivery environments. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, and procedures. Participate in regular team meetings to review status, raise issues, and track action items. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven experience in Windows Server administration in enterprise or cloud-native environments
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center
- Hands-on expertise with Azure IaaS, including VM provisioning, scaling, and monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to document procedures and technical workflows clearly and consistently
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers) in cloud contexts
- Experience with vulnerability remediation workflows and maintaining audit-ready evidence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good English communication skill to handle meetings with clients, partners and co-workers
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent
- Experience in Linux Server administration in enterprise or cloud-native environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration with Azure DevOps
