Overview

Platform Engineer As Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that supports efficient and scalable software development. This involves creating and enhancing developer tools, APIs, and integrations that automate workflows and streamline processes to improve team agility. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the platform meets their needs for delivering high-quality applications, while maintaining scalability, reliability, and performance.

A key aspect of this role is empowering development teams to independently provision and manage their own software delivery pipelines, including CI/CD systems, source control, and artifact repositories, enabling them to deliver software continuously and reliably without relying on other teams. You will guide the design and implementation of efficient and secure pipelines tailored to specific software delivery engagements, ensuring fast feedback loops and adherence to risk management, security, and governance requirements.

Job responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable platform infrastructure to support the development and production environments.
  • Drive automation and CI/CD pipelines for the platform, improving the speed and efficiency of deployments and operations.
  • Ensure the platform's security, scalability, and high availability, meeting the business needs and operational SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, incidents, and outages, and ensure root cause analysis is performed and communicated.
  • Implement and oversee the use of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and manage cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Champion the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to define and manage platform resources.
  • Support the adoption of DevOps and GitOps practices to streamline deployments, enhance collaboration, and reduce manual intervention.
  • Actively participate in performance tuning and optimization for cloud-based applications and infrastructure, ensuring long-term sustainability and performance.
Job Qualifications Technical Skills
  • Extensive experience in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their services, including compute, storage, networking, and serverless technologies.
  • Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) and container orchestration platforms such as AWS EKS, GKE, or similar.
  • Expertise in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, NewRelic, or ELK Stack, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot platform issues.
  • Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and securing cloud-native services.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, serverless computing, RESTful APIs, and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and GitOps practices, with hands-on experience automating workflows and deployments.
  • Strong understanding of platform performance tuning, cost optimization, and scaling.

The Architect establishes and maintains enterprise and/or domain-level architecture through planning, design, execution, and operation. This includes developing and implementing the standards and practices necessary to realize and sustain the application technology stack in alignment with architectural plans. The Architect also provides expert consultation to inform both strategic and tactical technology decisions-covering areas such as web and app servers, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high availability of application clusters. The overarching goal is to cultivate a scalable, extensible, interoperable, and adaptable IT ecosystem that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to lead our ServiceNow platform. This role will provide technical leadership, own and enforce technical governance to ensure adherence to best practices, collaborate with a dynamic team, engage with stakeholders, and oversee program management to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow solutions.

- Provide SNOW expert knowledge in Platform Strategy & Architecture, Governance Framework & Policy Enforcement, Solution Design & Quality Assurance, Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement, Platform Performance, Security & Risk Management
- Translate business requirements into system qualities that lead to repeatable and executable design strategies and patterns for tactical projects / initiatives in collaboration with project teams
- Identify and define the opportunities for integration, selecting the tools, specifying the shared data & code resources, defining the interfaces and data-flows, and monitoring the success of the integration for tactical projects / initiatives
- Develop, institute, and maintain the IT design methodology, development process methodology, technology standards, and best practices.
- Provide oversight to ensure compliance with architectural standards and practices through all aspects of planning, execution, and operation.
- Lead the evaluation of new technology targeted for possible integration into the existing IT environment.
- Develop, institute, and maintain the design and metadata repository for integrating all aspects of established architectural models.
- Survey external emerging developments, and evangelize new technologies, standards and methodologies.
- Provide expert guidance on tactical projects/initiatives
- Provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members on more complex tasks
- General and administrative tasks
**What you'll need (required):**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Natural Sciences & Mathematics or a related discipline
- 10 years of experience in IT Required
- Preferred 2 years of experience demonstrably solid performance in an architect role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/novel system implementations
- Preferred 2 years of relevant industry experience (e.g. medical device, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in highly regulated environments Preferred

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

The Release Manager role will be responsible for deploying builds across the environment, on-boarding new environment , Handling transversal projects and create release management related document and share release plan with the stakeholders

  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Facilitate release activities across all releases, mainly with ensuring quality, timely deployments across environments
  • Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews with stakeholders
  • Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
  • Participate in CAB meetings to present Production changes (RFCs)
  • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
  • Weekly Release Reporting with Program release manager.
  • Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve processes, able to recommend continuous improvements viz: automation .
  • Comfortable in interacting with people across hierarchical levels for smooth project execution. Enjoys managing complex projects involving challenges.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • English Language is mandatory to collaborate in a global environment, including writing, speaking and presenting.
  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CD/CI) pipelines
  • Good understanding of cloud deployment, preferably Azure and Agile practice
  • Knowledge on Deployment tool like Octopus
  • Knowledge on MS Project, Excel-Macros
  • Document Management for adhere to Audit Compliance process is an added advantage
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant release and deployment management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams towards task completion
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
  • Strong in troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Overview

IT Solutions Support Engineer - Mid-senior (Full-time). Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. The group works with leading organisations to ensure product safety, authenticity and accurate labelling, and has a broad presence in food, environment, pharmaceutical, cosmetic testing, genomics, clinical studies, biopharma contract development and manufacturing, and diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities
  • Log tickets based on end user requests to resolve queries within SLA.
  • Perform initial investigations to identify origins of issues.
  • Coordinate with IT Operations and Development teams to arrange timely resolutions within SLA.
  • Provide hands-on functional support and troubleshooting for .NET-based web applications; leverage a range of tools and technologies as needed.
  • Utilize and apply ITIL, SDLC, and Product Lifecycle methodologies.
  • Maintain a good understanding of IT Service Management tools to log, monitor, and document incidents/tickets.
Qualifications
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment.
  • Ability to adapt and work with both technical and business people.
  • Comfortable with remote communications using a wide array of technologies (shared code, documents, forums, phone, chat, email).
  • Up to 2 years of experience in an Enterprise application support environment is a plus.
  • Exposure to IIS-hosted web applications is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server and MS SQL Server concepts.
  • Extensive technical understanding spanning multiple platforms with broad knowledge of the applications and business priorities.
  • Demonstrated development or technical application support experience with tools/technologies such as ASP .Net / C# / SQL / IIS / Message Queues / Restful services.
  • Experience with IT Service Management tools to log, monitor, and document incidents.
  • Experience working with customers from European regions is a plus.
Working Hours & Scheduling

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 Hybrid work arrangement. Be available 1 weekend per month as part of a rotation schedule.
