About the Opportunity:

Modirum | Gespi is undertaking a strategic initiative to adapt our established technologies for the demanding UAV Defence sector. We are building a comprehensive development team, including a dedicated Testing & QA function. We seek an experienced Testing Lead to establish and guide the quality
assurance strategy, processes, and team responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and robustness of our complex defence solutions.

Your Role in the Team:

As the Testing Lead, you are the champion of quality for our UAV Defence initiative. You will:

  • Define, implement, and manage the overall testing strategy for the entire system (software, hardware, integration), tailored to the requirements of the defence sector.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Integration Testers and Software Testers.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering functional, non-functional (performance, security, reliability), integration, and system-level testing.
  • Oversee the execution of test plans and manage the defect lifecycle.
  • Champion the implementation and adoption of test automation frameworks and tools where appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams (AI, UX, Backend, Hardware), Product Owners, and Architects to understand requirements and integrate testing throughout the development lifecycle (shift-left testing).
  • Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure testing activities align with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Advocate for quality best practices across the entire development organization.
  • Drive the team’s output by ensuring rigorous validation and verification, leading to high-confidence releases for defence customers.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading a testing or QA team, preferably in a complex software/hardware product environment.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (manual and automated testing).
  • Experience developing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases.
  • Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, performance, security).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Pytest, Postman, JMeter).
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience testing systems in the Defence, Aerospace, or other regulated/high-reliability industries.
  • Experience testing integrated hardware/software systems.
  • Experience testing AI/ML components or systems.
  • ISTQB Advanced Level certification or equivalent.
  • Experience setting up QA processes from scratch.

Descrição do emprego

• Liderar todas as atividades relacionadas à execução de testes e validação, incluindo avaliação subjetiva e objetiva, necessárias para permitir a conclusão da avaliação DPV para Dirigibilidade do veículo.

• Preparação de veículos. Garanta com os respectivos parceiros funcionais (MMLs, Attribute, TnV) que o veículo tenha o status de SW e HW necessário para resultados de testes representativos.

• Garantir que o protocolo de teste correto seja aplicado para a finalidade específica do teste, na forma e no tempo adequados.

• Gerenciar o sistema JIRA, para capturar qualquer problema detectado durante os testes. Trabalhar em conjunto com as respectivas áreas para abordar adequadamente a solução técnica dos problemas.

• Apoio para aumentar a capacidade de testes InHouse, explorando fornecedores para aquisição de novos equipamentos, atualizando o treinamento técnico para testes e ajudando a aumentar todas as novas instalações e equipamentos comissionados para fins de testes InHouse.

Qualificações

Educação/Conhecimento profissional:

• Engenheiro Mecânico ou Mecatrônico ou experiência profissional equivalente (5+ anos) com sólidos conhecimentos em Veículos Elétricos e Validação Automotiva.

Habilidade, experiência:

• Sólida experiência em sistema Powertrain em veículos elétricos e etapas e requisitos de calibração de VCU.

• Experiência robusta com instrumentação veicular para testes.

• Sólidos conhecimentos de procedimentos de teste para validar a dirigibilidade do veículo.

• Boas competências na avaliação subjetiva do veículo. O histórico de referência será valorizado.

• Experiência prática e habilidades para reformar peças externas/internas do veículo.

• Experiência robusta com captura eletrônica de dados e análise de dados de testes.

Informações Adicionais

Outros requisitos:

• Domínio dos fundamentos de engenharia de sistemas de veículos (EVs)

• Hábil para resolução de problemas, pensamento analítico e apresentação de comportamento orientado a resultados

• Atenção aos detalhes e capacidade de gerenciar mais de uma tarefa ao mesmo tempo.

• Assertivo e com muito boa capacidade analítica.

    What we are looking for:

    3. Experience in using Testing automation tools and strong understanding of its techniques;
    4. Proficiency in English.

    What would be a plus:

    We're seeking an efficient ICQA Operations Manager to take ownership of our fulfillment center Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA). Our fulfillment centers sit at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing operations network: they are where we manage our fast-moving inventory. In each fulfillment center, our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out; each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today.
    These fulfillment centers are fast-paced and high reward environments, where adherence to policies and procedures is key. We need the right type of leader to ensure that we deliver as reliably as ever to our customers, while making sure our teams deliver on customer obsession.
    Key job responsibilities
    Your role and responsibilities as ICQA Area Manager:
    - Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates;
    - Lead and supervise a team in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfilment Center;
    - Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts aligned with network strategies, ensuring SOX compliance and consistency;
    - Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy while providing proactive feedback to the operations management team;
    - Identify root causes of inventory deviations using cause-and-effect methodologies and implement corrective actions;
    - Drive and support network-wide Fulfilment & Operations-focused quality initiatives;
    - Manage in ICQA functions and drive team performance;
    - Promote process improvements while developing your team's capabilities to keep pace with our rapid growth, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.

    Basic Qualifications
    - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification;
    - Strong proficiency in time management skills, coupled with confidence in analyzing and organizing large datasets;
    - Previous experience in inventory management, placement, and optimization strategies;
    - Proficient in using the full MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL is an advantage;
    - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
    Preferred Qualifications
    - Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques;
    - Strong analytical abilities, including proficient mathematical and data analysis skills, inventory topography optimization.
    - A focused problem-solver and self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a complex environment
