Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements to define project scope, cost, and timeline.
- Act as a subject matter expert ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals. Facilitate the meetings and agenda for development projects
- Oversee software development cycles, setting clear milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Assess development workloads to allocate resources efficiently and set realistic expectations.
- Ensure technical documentation, code reviews, and adherence to software development best practices.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks in the development process, proactively addressing them to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical solutions that align with business needs.
- Work with various stakeholders, including product owners, account managers and clients, to understand needs and incorporate them into the product strategy.
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure software meets technical standards
- Monitor project progress, providing status updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Define and prioritize technical stories in the product backlog, balancing business needs with technical constraints and long-term sustainability.
- Facilitate Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Software Development Manager and similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of full-stack development, including both frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and relevant technical architecture
- Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
- Ability to assess development efforts, define realistic timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into business-friendly language.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks early.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.
- Previous experience as a senior full stack developer is highly preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira

- 5 to 7 years’ experience as Project Manager, IT or Software/Technical
- 3 to 5 years’ experience with software product Integration, preferably ERP or SaaS products and applications
- 2 years Data Migration
- 2 years minimum experience with Power BI, requires high proficiency in Power BI
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
- 2 years Systems Integration experience is a plus.
- Create Project Plans for upgrades and testing
- Experience with UAP Testing, work with clients to perform testing, Auto/Manual /UAP
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- PMP, and Agile certification is a plus
- Familiarity with SQL databases, Windows/Linux environments, and networking concepts, Jira
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer interfacing skills (post-sales) is required.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Background in Software Products or Software/Professional Services.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a critical initiative focused on modernizing legacy SOAP APIs to RESTful APIs within the .NET ecosystem. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of our API infrastructure to a more scalable, maintainable, and cloud-native architecture on Azure. The ideal candidate will own the product vision and roadmap, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of API modernization projects that align with business goals and technical feasibility. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of our API strategy and contribute to the company’s digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities- Own the product vision and roadmap for the modernization of legacy SOAP APIs to REST APIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to define clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria that drive development and testing efforts.
- Prioritize features and tasks based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the design and implementation of REST API bridges on Azure, ensuring adherence to best practices in API design, security, and performance.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve blockers proactively, and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Define and track success metrics and KPIs to measure project outcomes, API performance, and user satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends in API design, cloud-native architectures, and Azure services to continuously improve the product and processes.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation through deployment, iteration, and maintenance, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving business needs.
- Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- SOAP : Deep understanding of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) web services, including their structure, communication patterns, and limitations. Experience in working with legacy SOAP APIs and challenges involved in migrating or integrating them with modern systems.
- RESTful API : Expertise in designing, developing, and managing RESTful APIs that are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Ability to translate legacy SOAP services into RESTful endpoints that meet modern standards.
- .NET Framework : Strong experience with the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core and .NET Framework, to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and understand the technical nuances of API development and modernization.
- Azure : Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud platform, particularly in deploying and managing API services, infrastructure, and related cloud resources. Familiarity with Azure’s capabilities to support API modernization projects.
- API Management : Knowledge of API management concepts and tools to govern, secure, and monitor APIs. Ability to implement API gateways, throttling, authentication, and analytics to ensure robust API operations.
- Microservices Architecture : Understanding of microservices principles and how APIs fit into a distributed architecture. Experience in decomposing monolithic services into microservices and managing inter-service communication.
- Product Management : Proven ability to own product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management. Skilled in balancing technical and business priorities to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Agile : Strong background in Agile methodologies, with the ability to lead Agile teams, manage backlogs, and adapt plans based on iterative feedback.
- Scrum : Experience as a Scrum Master or Scrum practitioner, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure team productivity and continuous improvement.
- Azure API Management : Hands-on experience with Azure API Management service to publish, secure, transform, maintain, and monitor APIs in a scalable manner.
- Azure Functions : Familiarity with serverless computing using Azure Functions to implement lightweight API bridges or backend logic as part of the modernization effort.
- Logic Apps : Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation and integration scenarios that complement API modernization.
- CI/CD Pipelines : Experience designing and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Docker : Understanding of containerization concepts and Docker technology to support microservices deployment and environment consistency.
- Kubernetes : Basic knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration for managing containerized applications, which may be part of the broader microservices infrastructure.
