Position Overview:
As a Senior Manager, focused on Business Development for Oil and Gas, you will be responsible for driving business growth and selling complex B2B consulting-led solutions that identify, design, and implement strategies delivering impactful, long-term results for clients. Your role involves building trusted relationships with senior executives, identifying key strategic needs, and closing large consulting contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build credibility and trust with C-Level executives, acting as a trusted advisor.
Develop and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for the Oil and Gas sectors in Latin America.
Business Development:
Identify, prospect, and lead new business opportunities in Oil and Gas sectors.
Close complex consulting contracts related mainly to operational risk management, operational excellence, supply chain optimization, digital transformation, and asset management.
Open new sales channels and position dss+ brand in workshops and segment related events
Engagement & Project Management:
Work closely with consulting teams to structure project activities, objectives, deliverables, and required resources.
Engage key stakeholders at the executive level to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Anticipate risks and challenges, proposing strategic actions to mitigate impacts and maximize project success.
Act as a strategic partner for clients, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Tools & Technology:
Utilize CRM and market analysis tools to manage the sales pipeline.
Develop and present business proposals using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Additionally, you will stay engaged with project execution, ensuring service excellence and identifying expansion and new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Industry Knowledge – Oil and Gas:
Experience in selling strategic solutions within the Oil and Gas sectors in Latin America.
Deep understanding of industry trends, operational challenges, and business models.
Relationship with decision makers of target accounts is a plus
Experience in Consultative Sales & Business Development:
Proven track record in selling strategic and operational consulting services to C-Level executives.
Strong background in prospecting and closing new business as well as expanding existing accounts.
Ability to lead complex negotiations and close large-scale contracts.
Technical & Soft Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and internal teams.
Strategic and consultative approach, capable of leading high-level discussions on operational risk, supply chain, digitalization, and process optimization.
Leadership and collaboration, with experience in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Advanced English and Spanish.
Education background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
MBA.
Availability for frequent travel (up to 50% within Latin America).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles complex losses locally unassisted up to designated authority; assists on larger losses, including handling accounting-based losses (business interruption and stock).
- Examines claim form and other records to determine insurance coverage.
- Interviews, telephones, or corresponds with claimant and witnesses regarding claim.
- Consults police and hospital records; and inspects property damage to determine extent of company's liability and varying methods of investigation according to type of insurance.
- Estimates cost of repair, replacement, or compensation.
- Prepares report of findings and negotiates settlement with claimant.
- Recommends litigation by legal department when settlement cannot be negotiated.
- Attends litigation hearings.
- Revises case reserves in assigned claims files to cover probable costs.
- Prepares loss experience reports to help determine profitability and calculates adequate future rates.
