Job Responsibilities

The Senior Architect is responsible for leading the design and implementation of advanced architectural solutions within the organization. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to influence the technical direction of projects. The Sr. Architect works closely with various teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business goals and meet high standards of quality and performance.

Past experiences should include working in a global organization in either IT engineering or operations of varying size and complexity. Must have broad knowledge of current IT or security technologies to be able to work closely with core Syneos engineering and operations teams for the development of new solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex architectural solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Create technical designs and specifications from business requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the architecture.
  • Decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Enforce quality and compliance standards to adhere to Syneos relevant policies.
  • Track milestones of dependencies by the various internal delivery teams required for the final solution.
  • Reporting and identify of potential risks of the solution development to management.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers.
  • Continuously improve architecture processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high-stress, high-impact situations

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in software architecture, system design, cloud computing and operationalization of the solutions to move to production.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate in architectural design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Worked in engineering or operations support organization to develop & deliver high quality solutions to customers.
  • Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Analyst, that will be responsible for IT network operations, that includes maintaining and developing all network elements and coordination of the vendor’s support. This position reports to IT Infrastructure Manager and will be also responsible for managing the infrastructure of server rooms at plants and offices.

This Role In Summary

As an Infrastructure Analyst you will be responsible to ensure availability, reliability, security and scalability of the network, establishing controls and monitoring capabilities. Measure network operations performance against the set KPIs and take corrective actions to meet them. Participate on RCAs of issues and ensure that documentations and fixes are applied. Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude to take ownership to solve issues. Be collaborative with IT teams and Business stakeholders to understand the changes that impact network and troubleshooting issues.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Communicate with business and IT stakeholders for the network themes.
  • Ensure maintenance and optimization of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and Data Center), maintaining high availability, performance, and security.
  • Conduct and lead specialized technical teams (e.g., Metmox, Move, Liberato), ensuring control over critical Data Center infrastructure.
  • Lead network infrastructure projects and ensure proper reporting of progress and results.
  • Plan, communicate and support critical infrastructure changes.
  • Maintain Network Life Cycle Management, keeping up-to-date inventory and documentation of all network assets.
  • Manage vendors and its service levels, including telecommunications, cabling contracts and network related services, ensuring KPIs according to SLAs.
  • Oversee and optimize network infrastructure costs, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Conduct procurement processes for network-related services and assets, including technical assessment of vendor proposals and supporting the Procurement team in commercial analysis.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Exp: 5 years in IT with 3+ years of experience in Network role, including practical experience with troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks and Data Center environments.
  • Expertise of Cisco network equipment (routing/switching), Firewalls (Palo Alto desirable), SD-WAN (Velocloud Edge desirable), and Corporate Wi-Fi (Juniper Mist desirable).
  • Proficient in ITSM processes (Incident, Change and Problem Management).
  • Proficient in ServiceNow to attend and perform day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical teams and leaderships.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting data and supporting report generation.
  • Advanced proficiency in English for reading, writing, and conversation.

Responsibilities:

Implementation and Transition
• Executes and manages the implementation of new or changed IT services, ensuring smooth transition into operations, coordination with stakeholders, and adherence to defined standards and timelines.
Operation
• Manages daily operational activities, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient running of the assigned IT service(s), proactively resolving issues and optimizing operational processes.
Continuous Improvement
• Identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to enhance service quality, reliability, and efficiency. Actively drives continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned services.
Knowledge Management and Documentation
• Ensures comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of service processes, configurations, and relevant knowledge articles. Facilitates knowledge sharing across stakeholders.

Project Management
• Executes tasks and responsibilities within service-related projects, ensuring effective project delivery, alignment with project goals, and adherence to defined standards, methodologies, and timelines.
Cost & Financial Management
• Supports the financial management of the service(s), providing information and analysis related to cost control and budget adherence, as required by responsible stakeholders.
Information and Escalation
• Supports escalation management by providing technical expertise and assistance for service-related issues, helping ensure timely resolution and clear communication.
Security Management
• Actively supports adherence to security standards and policies within service operations, ensuring compliance with organizational security guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, combined with several years of relevant work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in managing or supporting Service Desk activities, Workplace Life Cycle, Client Configuration, Mobile Device and / or Client Access & Policy services.
  • Proficiency in IT FrontEnd Services, processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
