Role: Salesforce Administrator
Reports To:
Sr. Director of Revenue Operations
This role will own Salesforce Sales Cloud and ensure it evolves to support our SaaS GTM engine. The admin will focus on sales pipeline tracking, quoting, and campaign attribution, while also managing integrations with connected GTM tools.
Required Experience
Business Case & Requirements Gathering
- Proven ability to meet with GTM leadership, ask the right discovery questions, and translate abstract needs ("we need better pipeline visibility") into concrete system requirements and then build them.
- Skilled at documenting requirements in a way that prepares the org for scale (clear field definitions, object mapping, and governance).
Sales & Marketing Reporting Expertise
- Hands-on experience building reports/dashboards that support:
- Pipeline coverage, stage velocity, win rate, and quota attainment.
- Lead → MQL → SQL → Opportunity funnel reporting, with UTM/campaign attribution.
- Marketing influence dashboards aligned to Salesforce Campaigns.
- Forecasting and ARR reporting: Ability to design reports that integrate enrichment and segmentation data (fleet size, geography, customer type) to support outbound strategy.
System Design & Scale Preparation
- Experience designing
object models and field structures
that anticipate scale — e.g., validation rules that enforce data hygiene, and governance processes. - Demonstrated ability to create
documentation/playbooks
so that additional admins or contractors can onboard quickly and follow consistent patterns in our systems. - Skilled at balancing
quick wins
with
long-term architecture
— not over-engineering, but ensuring solutions won't break as the team scales.
Integrations
- Background managing Salesforce integrations with common SaaS GTM integrations such as HubSpot, Stripe, Gong, Gainsight, Apollo, Pandadoc, Clay (these specific tools are not required)
Mindset & Prior Experience
- Has worked in
scale-up SaaS environments
(100–500 employees) where Salesforce processes and reporting had to evolve quickly as go-to-market scaled. - Comfortable owning projects end-to-end: requirements gathering, solution design, build, QA, rollout, training, and documentation.
- Excels at working directly with Sales and Marketing leaders
Key Responsibilities
Sales Cloud Administration
- Configure and maintain Opportunity structure, products, pricing, quotes, rollup custom fields to support both recurring and non-recurring revenue.
- Build flows, validation rules, and approval processes that support sales efficiency and enforce data hygiene.
- Manage reporting and dashboards for GTM leadership (pipeline coverage, forecasting, stage conversion, quota tracking).
- Maintain lead/account matching, duplicate prevention, and enrichment workflows.
- Develop and maintain custom objects tailored to support our internal processes.
Integrations & Tooling
- Maintain integrations with other tools in the GTM tech stack.
Project Scoping & Scaling
- Translate GTM business needs into Salesforce requirements.
- Draft system design and requirements docs for future contractors or additional hires.
- Support QA/testing for new flows, integrations, and object structures.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years as a solo or small team Salesforce Admin, with
direct Sales Cloud focus
(opportunity management, forecasting, campaigns). - Experience with SaaS
scale-ups
(ideally 100–500 employees) where Salesforce processes had to evolve rapidly. - Hands on expertise with flows, dashboards, validation rules, and integrations.
- Strong data hygiene practices and an eye for scalable design.
- C1 or C2 English proficiency level
- Resume and LinkedIn profile in English, showcasing experience in chronological order
