HR & Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator
to support the success of Cumorah's staff and interns by managing key HR processes and fostering a strong culture of continuous learning. This role is central to ensuring a smooth employee experience and maintaining efficient operations—from contract administration and system access to internal communication, development planning, mentorship programs, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

. System Access & Platform Management

  • Grant and revoke access to platforms: ClickUp, Hat Rack, Google Workspace (ZIVA & Cumorah), EduMatrix, WhatsApp Groups
  • Coordinate access setup for interns, advisory couples, and directors

. Contract Administration

  • Prepare and issue contracts for interns and contractors (U.S.-based and local)
  • Ensure timely collection and secure storage of signed agreements

. Internal Communications & Meetings

  • Prepare agendas and updates for Culture Gatherings and All-Hands Meetings
  • Provide leadership with regular personnel updates (new hires, exits, role changes, etc.)

. Role & Hat Rack Oversight

  • Create and manage roles in the Hat Rack system
  • Coordinate role transitions and semester-end updates with supervisors
  • Train new staff and contribute to remote onboarding resources

. Time-Off & Vacation Tracking

  • Respond to policy-related questions
  • Maintain accurate records of employee time-off
  • Coordinate vacation reporting for Czech-based staff with administrative contacts

. Performance & KPI Management

  • Distribute, collect, and archive KPI forms for employees and supervisors
  • Send reminders and ensure timely submissions

. Employee Engagement & Recognition

  • Organize monthly Hangout Hubs for cross-team connection
  • Send birthday and milestone messages via email, WhatsApp, or mail
  • Acknowledge certifications, promotions, life events, and achievements

. Learning & Development Program

  • Co-create individual onboarding development plans with new hires
  • Conduct regular check-ins and suggest learning resources (courses, workshops, articles)
  • Manage monthly mentorship pairings and support session quality
  • Maintain a centralized learning hub for team-wide access
  • Recognize employees for completed training, certifications, and growth milestones

. Compliance & HR Program Oversight

  • Support the implementation of the Employee Bonus Program
  • Act as liaison for confidential reporting mechanisms (PRASI)
  • Ensure adherence to internal HR protocols and confidentiality standards


Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR coordination, L&D, training, coaching, or educational program management
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly across cultures
  • Fluency in English – C1/C2 level
  • Confident managing digital tools such as Google Workspace, ClickUp, Notion, and CRM platforms

Responsibilities and assignments

Primary Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

4. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of development programmes, using data and feedback to improve content, methods, and outcomes.

  • Promote transparent and constructive feedback practices, enabling employees to identify strengths, development needs, and career opportunities.

5. Compliance & Culture

  • Ensure all development activities comply with internal policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.

  • Contribute to broader organisational development and culture projects.

  • Actively support the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

6. Generalist Performance

  • Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support organizational goals

  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure employee engagement and development

  • Manage employee onboarding, training, and performance evaluation processes

  • Handle conflict resolution and employee grievances professionally

  • University degree required. Postgraduate studies or an MBA in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or related fields is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of professional learning methodologies and performance development practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust and influence across all staff groups.

  • Skilled in designing policies, guidelines, and tools that are practical, clear, and aligned with organisational objectives.

  • Proactive, structured, and results-oriented approach.

  • Desirable: Experience in the education sector or in schools.
