We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer , who wants to learn and transform their career, in a CLT contract, hybrid (2x in the office) , in the city of São Paulo (Tamboré) .

Must Have:

  • Over 10 years of IT experience
  • Over 5 years of experience as a QA professional with automation
  • Over 3 years of experience with QA process automation
  • Experience with Tosca, Selenium, or another automation tool
  • Knowledge of Test Automation (End-to-End Integration)
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps Test Plan
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Postman
  • Experience with integrated testing
  • Experience in agile environments

Language: Fluent Portuguese & intermediate English (able to speak & write)

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of the insurance market
  • Good communication, organization, engagement, and resilience
  • Experience with Generative AI

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive our automation strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality products across our gaming platforms. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API environments, while also leveraging GenAI-driven testing approaches. Working closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers, you’ll play a key role in maintaining performance, reliability, and a seamless user experience for players worldwide.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright, and Appium.
  • Create and optimize automated test suites to support regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Implement AI-driven testing scenarios and integrate GenAI tools into existing frameworks to validate reliability of large language models.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Swagger.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to translate requirements into effective automation strategies.
  • Mentor team members on automation best practices and help raise the team’s technical proficiency.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo.
  • Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Document test cases, frameworks, and processes to ensure reusability and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and continuously suggest improvements to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.
What We’re Looking For
  • 6–8 years of experience in test automation and QA, with proven success building frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, REST Assured, Postman, Karate, etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and integrating GenAI tools into automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of containerized environments using Docker.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Through automation and functional testing, they validate a variety of products to offer our customers a seamless banking experience. About the Role

Upgrade is a US based company with numerous fully remote engineering team members across Brazil. Our QA team has end-to-end ownership to build a quality product. Through automation and functional testing, they validate a variety of products to offer our customers a seamless banking experience. As a QA Engineer, you will work directly with our product teams and will participate in application specification reviews and architectural design sessions by providing input from a quality standpoint. You will also identify testing strategies for various features and functionalities. Within your first year, you will develop an understanding of how to deliver high performing software at pace of development. You will work in an environment that promotes ownership at all levels including configuring and monitoring apps in production.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute functional/performance tests by spinning up disposable environments on demand to deploy microservices with different versions and configurations, and customize database content
  • Develop test automation at the pace of feature development utilizing our functional and performance test frameworks
  • Customize, configure, patch services, and deploy infrastructure and code changes all the way through to production
  • Analyze log files and troubleshoot production issues by automating and reproducing them in a non-production environment
  • Plan, create, and implement strategies/solutions for feature validations and test automation
What We Look For
  • Ability to develop test automation in Java using Selenium to utilize Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as IntelliJ or Eclipse
  • Experience in deploying services in various environments such as Kubernetes, using deployment tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins
  • Familiarity with log aggregators such as SumoLogic, Kibana, or Splunk, and app monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working in a cloud-based environment (AWS)
  • Passion for automating tests and delivering high quality features in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable working in Agile methodology
