Role responsibilities:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- 5 years of experience writing and executing test automation scripts, including but not limited to web or mobile applications and automated API tests.
- Strong skills working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience writing end-to-end UI tests.
- Solid understanding of different testing types (Blackbox, Whitebox, regression, smoke, functional, non-functional).
- Strong skills in communicating clearly and negotiating in English and Spanish.
- Proficient with building front-end automation tests using Playwright/Selenium/Appium/RobotFramework or similar tools.
- Proficient in building automated tests for APIs using RestAssured, RestSharp, Postman, or GraphQL.
- Highly motivated self-starter, a team player who works well on cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to portray information in a logical and well-organized manner.
- Proven record of developing strong, positive relationships with the software development team, especially developers and business analysts.
- Strong experience working with project management tools (JIRA, XRaj, Azure DevOps or similar).
- Good understanding of XML and JSON structures.
Nice to have qualifications
- Experience working or coordinating with USA teams.
- Experience writing API and integration tests with the use of mocking frameworks.
- Basic understanding of tools for log analysis.
- Basic Experience maintaining and adjusting CI/CD testing pipelines.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, creative and talented Automation Engineer – Contractor who will thrive on exposing issues and improving the quality of our state of the art trading applications. For this role, we are looking for an individual to help ramp up our automated test coverage for our various areas of functionality within our TT trading platform.
What Will You Be Involved With?
- Working closely with the Test Engineering team, you will receive support to help you understand our test automation framework and functional use cases and implement automated test coverage using Python.
- Learn our homegrown system-level test framework, understand the current test coverage and gaps, and work to help script tests to fill the gaps.
- Responsible for testing order and price feeds and validating the communication and functionality between the TT platform and the various Exchanges that TT supports worldwide
- Assists in reproducing, investigating, and reporting software issues in close coordination with the Development team
- Recommend product improvements, usability corrections, or enhancements in coordination with the Product Management team
- Collaborate with a team of testers to constantly improve and enhance each other’s skill sets and arsenal of test tools
- Work to improve the quality of high-performance software testing for enterprise trading applications.
- Use FIX protocols to understand send and receive messages across servers for debugging purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- Strong Experience with Python required
- 2+ years experience with scripting automated test cases
- Experience working in the financial industry, Futures trading systems, or TT software is a strong plus
- Knowledge of FIX Protocol a strong plus
- Experience with Linux, a strong plus
- Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and test engineering principles and processes
- Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement

Test preparation
You will draw up/update your test cases yourself based on specifications and make preparations to be able to carry out your test cases correctly and completely.

About the Role:
Upgrade is a US based company with numerous remote engineering team members across Argentina. Our QA team has end-to-end ownership to build a quality product. Through automation and functional testing, they validate a variety of products to offer our customers a seamless banking experience. As a QA Engineer, you will work directly with our product teams and will participate in application specification reviews and architectural design sessions by providing input from a quality standpoint. About This Opportunity
The QA Automation Engineer III is responsible for supporting multiple teams in aggressive Agile environments, ensuring quality delivery of projects through the building and maintaining of automated testing scripts . About the Role

Job Summary
Our client is a prominent East Coast Insurance company. They are seeking a QA Automation Lead to modernize customer-facing insurance platforms and internal claims processing systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, drives team performance, and balances structure with flexibility to get things done.
This role will lead a team of 3 QA Automation engineers and report directly to the Director of Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of three QA Automation Engineers
- Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD test integration
- Ensure quality standards and best practices are upheld throughout the SDLC
- Analyze test results and advocate for continuous improvements in test coverage and processes
- Contribute to test planning, estimation, and overall testing strategy
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QA, 2 years as a lead
- Experience with Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript)
- Strong CI/CD experience (preferably with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps)
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and automation best practices
- Experience with RESTful API testing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, Gatling)
- Knowledge of security and accessibility testing
- Salary Range from 40,000-54,000 USD/yr
