The Smart Grid Energy Automation Business Unit HUB in Curitiba, Brazil is looking for a SCADA engineer with C/C++ and Python experience to join our team. Candidate will work with the project delivery team to design, develop, test, and deliver SCADA components mainly based on existing components. These components are integrated and delivered as part of Siemens EMS/SCADA software solutions.

As a SCADA engineer , you will be working in a team with experienced professionals of Siemens Energy Management solutions, delivering projects to global customers. Your responsibility will be to identify and troubleshoot the specific customer needs and issues by applying your knowledge from, but not limited to, software architecture and quality, programming and scripting.

It's your role, here's the part you can play

  • Parametrization of all the data points related to SCADA data model
  • Creating SCADA data model in Real Time DB as well as in RDBMS Oracle DB
  • Analyze the specific project request and provide solution to it
  • Perform configuration for specific RTU and its communication to control center
  • Complete processing and presentation of all analog, digital and accumulator values
  • Configure Multisite system and provide its stability and reliability
  • Negotiate with Clients about their specific needs
  • Debug code in order to find a cause of the problem
  • Write a new code to correct the problem or to create a new feature for the Client
  • Prepare performance scripts for various load scenarios
  • Perform Performance testing before new system is going live


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 year in technical or electrical engineering within transmission or distribution operation, including relevant Project Delivery experience
  • Experience with one of the following: SCADA systems, mission critical systems or Network Grid Control Centers software
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and MySQL/SQL
  • Ability to communicate effectively, highly technical information, clearly and concisely to peers, management, and customers
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Extremely partner-focused, proactive and effective within a team environment

· Software development experience with C/C++, Java and Python

Additional relevant, but not necessary experience include

  • Schell scripting (Bash, ksh, csh)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, and AIX Platforms

Position Summary

The role of a Senior Systems Analyst with Netcracker is responsible for supporting the IBM Power Systems platforms within Netcracker's data centers. IBM Power Systems Platforms are made up of Development, Production, and Test Logical Partitions. The individual in this position will also assist in providing mentorship to our off-shore staff as needed. This position is part of our Global Managed Services (GMS) team that supports various Netcracker clients, located within North America and across the globe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Interact with Global Managed Services (GMS) customers on a daily basis in support of the environments managed by GMS – hosted or remote by
    • Resolving environment related problems reported by GMS customers through CSS as assigned
    • Completing service requests submitted by GMS customers, including managing customer user ids, remote print writers and/or queues, and similar requests
    • Submitting service requests for data center services needed by GMS customers
    • Acting as liaison between GMS customer and Netcracker IT Group to facilitate completion of requests
    • Researching system and database journals to retrieve auditing information in support of internal and customer data investigations
    • Troubleshooting problems with TCP/IP based interfaces using IBM and third party network tracing tools
  • Configure and monitor systems to ensure
    • peak and problem free operation
    • compliance with security standards
  • Configure and support
    • Software based replication, particularly using Vision Solutions MIMIX ha1, as it relates to both HA and DR implementations.
    • System monitoring, particularly using Help Systems Halcyon, especially as it relates to interface / job monitoring
    • Tape management systems, particularly using IBM’s BRMS, especially as it relates to daily backup routines
    • System compliance and audit functions, particularly using Enforcive Enterprise Security, especially as it relates to PCI compliance
    • Automation functions, particularly using Help Systems Robot SCHEDULE and REPLAY, or IBM’s Advanced Job Scheduler
    • Browser based GUI interface, particularly using Rocket Software’s LegaSuite application over Netcracker’s ICOMS solution.
    • Digital certificates using IBM Digital Certificate Manager
    • End user access to system tools using IBM i Navigator
  • Maintain application environments by
    • Reviewing patches and release updates and constructing a plan to apply them to Netcracker and third party applications
    • Creating custom programming using CL, RPG, or other available languages in support of production processing
    • Performing regular maintenance tasks in a timely manner to ensure PCI compliancy
  • Regularly review
    • Security bulletins issued by US-CERT, IBM, and other vendors, especially as they pertain to PCI compliance. Resolve any vulnerabilities in a timely manner
    • System performance statistics, forecasted growth data, and project system resource utilization, making recommendations for hardware and/or software upgrades to meet demand.
    • Disaster Recovery Plans and participate in annual Disaster Recovery Exercises, focusing on validating business continuity plans for GMS customers. Update the DR plans to reflect current configurations, environments, and processes.
  • Manage the underlying systems supporting the ICOMS solution by
    • Upgrading firmware, and HMC release levels in accordance with IBM compatibility matrices and recommendations
    • Allocating system resources for production and test partitions
    • Preparing system plans for partitions on Power Systems servers
    • Installing hardware components required by the solution
    • Reading the PAL and SAL in System Service Tools (SST) and Service logs in the HMC to assist hardware maintenance providers with troubleshooting, and resolving hardware problems.
  • Will be asked to perform similar duties for internal (development/test) systems as well.
  • May be asked to perform consulting services for customers outside of GMS
Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience (preferably more) administering IBM i running on Power Systems servers.
    • Must be familiar with all aspects of system administration, including upgrades from previous releases, backup and recovery, storage management, using journaling, understands the differences between various types of ASPs and their uses, and has strong HMC skills.
  • IBM Certified System Administrator - IBM i 7.x (highly preferred)
  • At least one major system hardware upgrade (for example POWER6 to POWER7)
  • At least two major operating system upgrades (for example, IBM i 5.4 or 6.1 to 7.1)
  • At least two full system restores (as if from a site-down crash)
  • Experience in managing partitioned systems
  • Strong experience in using database journaling, especially remote journaling
  • Strong experience with utilizing Performance tools such as IBM Job Watcher/Pex and MPG Performance Navigator
  • Understands the differences between independent ASPs, *SYSBAS, and traditional ASPs
  • Understands the functional differences between logical replication and clustering
  • Understands IBM i security administration, compliance, and access control
  • Extensive knowledge of the HMC
  • Some experience managing IBM i with SAN-attached storage
  • Keeps up with IBM hardware announcements, and has an awareness of IBM technical directions for their product lines
  • Keeps up with Technology Refreshes, and has an awareness of new features and functions
  • Is very familiar with the IBM Memo to Users for V7R1 as of April 2012, and any subsequent Technical Releases (TRs)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to train operations monitoring staff on how to respond to alerts, ensure “switch readiness” on HA/DR systems, and perform less complex maintenance window activities
  • Must be able to provide 24x7 on-call support coverage - on a rotational basis with other team members. (on occasion)
Other Highly Desired Skills

  • Experience installing software upgrades and updates to third party and in-house developed applications
  • Very familiar with the use of MIMIX software for logical replication of database information to redundant systems for high availability and disaster recovery deployments
  • Very familiar with the configuration and management of ODBC / JDBC / TCP socket communications on IBM i systems communicating with other applications running on Unix / Linux & or Windows systems
  • Very familiar with current PCI-DSS standards and how to ensure PCI compliance on IBM i operating system and database containing PCI sensitive data
  • Experience managing medium projects, lasting a few weeks, involving two or more teams.
  • Fluent English Speaker and availability to work from office on Hybrid mode
  • Must be able to work on Shifts mode

Job Purpose and Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Linux /AWS Systems Administrator with a strong background in managing Debian -based systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure management (preferably in AWS ), and automating operations in production environments. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage, monitor, and maintain Debian -based Linux systems in production environments
  2. Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily in AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
  3. Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK
  4. Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash , Python ) to automate routine operations and enhance system reliability
  5. Ensure system performance, availability, and security, addressing incidents and resolving issues promptly
  6. Configure and manage monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch)
  7. Support containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker , ECS, EKS, Fargate)
  8. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of professional experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a similar role
  2. Proven experience managing Debian Linux distributions in production environments

  4. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK

Working as a core member of our IT infrastructure team, you will provide 3 rd line technical support. Working closely with our Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our IT infrastructure to ensure that our colleagues have access to efficient and best-in-class IT services. You will also contribute to the development and evolution of ABL Group's IT posture. This position will support ABL Group staff across all of our regions where we operate.

What will you be doing?

  • Proactively maintain our Azure Cloud Infrastructure platform.
  • Monitor and maintain our backup and restore procedures and ensure they are in line with our policy.
  • Monitor escalated incidents to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Identify problems and trends to proactively prevent future incidents.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup, user desktops / laptops, system, and network configuration, both remote and local.
  • Promote collaboration within the team and ensure service desk procedures are followed.
  • Provide continual coaching & mentoring of technical and customer service skills.
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
  • Install, configure, and support Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ask internal customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
  • Provide technical and training to internal customer upon setup completion.
  • Maintain and use the company IT ServiceDesk logging system, ensuring all calls are up to date and prioritised accordingly so that SLAs are met.
  • Talk staff through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue.
  • Own critical problems and ensure handovers are in place to ensure continuity of work across regions.
  • Lead or support all prioritised project work in collaboration with other team members across the Group.
  • Assist in ensuring that the documentation of IT Services is accurate and maintained regularly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company data and systems.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will be an experience IT Systems Engineer who has worked in a similar role previously. You should have a background of working on the design of technical solutions and evaluating and implementing IT services, such as on-premise infrastructure. More specifically, we are looking for the following technical skills:

  • ITIL Foundation (v3 or 4).
  • Advanced Desktop and Server support skills with Azure Cloud.
  • Active Directory / Windows 10 / Office 365 / SharePoint / MS Teams experience.
  • Experienced in on-prem to cloud application management.
  • Expertise in global on-premises or cloud networking and security device management and configuration including, but not limited to, telephony, LAN/WAN (MPLS, SDWAN, etc) firewall management, etc.
  • Expert level technical experience in Azure Cloud, through design, implementation, and ongoing management.
  • Expert level understanding of Data Management principles and Azure storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of software design principles, languages, and architecture models.

As a Channel Systems Engineer covering a regional territory, your role will involve providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to partners on their journey towards becoming key Palo Alto Networks partners. You will work as a technical leader with channel partners, providing technical expertise to support the technical sales and implementation of company products and solutions. **Your Impact**
+ Serve as the primary technical leader for channel partners within the assigned region
+ Collaborate with focus partners in the territory to develop comprehensive business plans that align to strategic objectives
+ Provide technical pre-sales support to partners, including product presentations, demonstrations and solution architecture design.
+ Collaborate with your sales peers to identify opportunities for new partnerships and expand existing ones

**Your Experience**
+ 6+ years of experience in Partner Solution Consulting, pre-sales engineering, or a similar technical role within the technology industry
+ Skilled in at least one of the following Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
+ Prior experience working with channel is required. Strong understanding of channel sales models and experience working with resellers, distributors, and other channel partners
+ Previous experience selling, implementing, or managing SaaS offerings is strongly preferred
+ Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred.
+ Prior experience architecting cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence business initiatives is preferred.
+ Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
+ Hands-on experience with product installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards resolving issues.
+ Willingness to travel within the assigned region to support partners and attend events as necessary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer III to join our InComm Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Red Hat and Oracle Linux system administration, automation with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform , as well as deep expertise in Linux patching, scripting, and GIT version control . This role is critical to ensuring our Linux-based infrastructure is secure, stable, and scalable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Linux system infrastructure, primarily Red Hat and Oracle Linux.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Use Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to manage enterprise-wide automation strategies.
  • Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening.
  • Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.
  • Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to ensure consistent environments.
  • Manage source code and configuration using GIT repositories.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using industry-standard tools.
  • Document processes, system changes, and configurations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible, including custom module development and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced bash scripting skills for automation and system tasks.
  • Proficient in GIT for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning and patch management.

Boeing Brazil is seeking **Senior** **Systems Engineer (ETOPS)** , reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the **São José dos Campos** office.
The **Senior Systems Engineer (ETOPS)** will apply System Engineering concepts and principles to product development, with special focus to ETOPS (Extended Operations), ensuring Boeing aircraft are designed, built, tested, and supported for extended operations (especially overwater), enabling Boeing customers to fly long range missions in a more direct route to/from suitable airport. ETOPS is heavily regulated and has considerable certification aspects, including focus on safety, airplane maintenance and operational procedures.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Systems Engineering activities to develop Aircraft Systems for several different programs.
+ Conduct and perform Requirements Validation and Verification.
+ Testing Experience (Flight Test, Ground Tests, Test Procedures and Analysis, Configuration Control and Conformity).
+ Review safety assessments.
+ Drive continual improvement in solutions sets to Development and Derivative Programs
+ Close coordination with Boeing engineers and certification specialists across many areas (propulsion, systems, avionics, etc.) to ensure project certification and ultimate submittal to the certification authorities, including the FAA, EASA, and other international validation bodies.
**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
+ Must have a degree in Engineering.

+ Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):**
+ In depth experience in Systems development.
+ In depth experience with ARP-4754 and ARP-4761.

+ In depth experience applying Systems Engineering principles and Systems Integration in the Aerospace industry
+ ETOPS Certification or Airplane / Propulsion / Electrical Experience.
