What You'll Do:

  1. Assist in onboarding external API service providers , ensuring smooth and compliant integration processes under guidance.
  2. Support API product testing and documentation, helping identify improvement opportunities and contributing to basic feature iterations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, tech) to facilitate communication and track project progress.
  4. Help create and maintain product training materials , user guides, and internal knowledge base updates. 5.Learn industry-standard API products and operational best practices to grow expertise over time.


What We Need From You:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, E-commerce, or related fields preferred).
  2. Basic understanding of API technologies and interest in B2B product operations.
  3. Native in Portuguese, with working proficiency in English (able to read/write documentation and handle basic communication).
  4. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in office Tools .
  6. Proactive learner with good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

  • Support in creating fair and effective rider evaluation plans that match different business needs.
  • Contribute to improving rider performance through training, incentive programs, and clear guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze delivery data, spot issues, and suggest solutions to keep operations running smoothly.


Requirements:

  • This position is open to graduates whose graduation dates fall between November 2025 and October 2026.
  • Good English communication for the daily work and contact with foreign team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in data analytics and experience in data-driven decision making.

Position Overview

The Hunter Douglas Global Management Trainee Program (GMT) is hand-selected and sponsored by the Executive Leadership Team. This 10-month comprehensive Leadership Development program provides you with the tools and experiences to develop you into a future leader of our organization while providing a holistic view of the business. Throughout this program, you will immediately immerse yourself into the company, the culture, and the industry. You will join a class of other Trainees and gain a community of ambitious peers. You will learn from Hunter Douglas leaders and contribute directly to our purpose and our DREAM. You will gain insights from day one and do real work on different projects while delivering actual results.

Before the program commences, Trainees are paired with a Mentor to help acclimate and integrate you to our organization. Throughout the program, you can expect opportunities to connect and collaborate with our Executive Leadership Team, Global Leaders, Business Leaders, previous Trainees and current Trainees from other Zones.

What you'll do

  • Three weeks of onboarding - one week of local onboarding at your designated hub location and zone. 
    • Global Induction at our HQ - providing an introduction to our company's strategy, culture, products, sales channels and problem-solving approaches.
  • Five months of Field Training in which you will rotate through key areas of our value chain including Sales, Supply, Logistics, Product, Customer Service, and will gain hands-on experience by actively participating in daily operations and project work during each rotation.
  • One week of Leadership and Methodology training to foster a unified system-thinking approach and prepare you for your first project.
  • A four-month individual project in which you will be able to deliver tangible and measurable results as an active team member by applying methodology skills and technical knowledge.
  • Capstone presentation of your project to Leadership, followed by feedback and final placement into a full-time role upon program completion - designed to support your continued leadership development and long-term career growth with Hunter Douglas.
  • First Position Placement can be in any of the following areas: Sales, Operations (Supply, Logistics, Procurement), Product, or Functional. 

Below are examples of projects that previous Trainees' have worked on

  • Create a new implementation process for when Hunter Douglas introduces a new product.
  • Implement recommendations to optimize material usage and mitigate scrap rates at our plants.
  • Pricing Analysis for our e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop a communication strategy to enhance our customer installation journey.
  • Monetize our Market Funnel valuation by quantifying our conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • To qualify, candidates must have an expected graduation date of December 2025
  • Have demonstrated leadership capabilities through various extracurricular activities including job experiences, internships, student clubs and organizations, and volunteer work.
  • Must be fully mobile and willing to be on-site at one of our major locations throughout the program. Be ready to tackle new challenges in diverse environments, including front line roles in the field, manufacturing plants, regional offices, among others.
