TheGlobal DBA Engineer (DBA) role is responsible for the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within the organization. The role encompasses both strategic and operational duties, including the efficient storage of data, maintaining access reliability, and protection against data loss or unauthorized access. The DBA will collaborate closely with terminal and regional infrastructure teams to uphold current standards, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and carry out database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.

Principle Accountabilities

  • We are looking for DBA with experience mainly in SQL-Server.
  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
  • Install and maintain HA scenarios AON, replication.
  • knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
  • Develop processes for optimizing database security.
  • Set and maintain database standards.
  • Manage database access.
  • Performance tuning of database systems.
  • Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Triage reported issues to accurately identify, escalate, and respond to urgent or critical matters in support of terminal operations.
  • Identify root causes of outages and issues and prepare plans for permanent changes to eliminate/reduce chronic issues or establish SOPs for resolution by ‘shift left’ resources
  • Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
  • Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
  • Create automation for repeating database tasks.
  • Work with the Global N4 Migration Team on all N4 upgrades.
  • Document implementation & deployment plans
  • Be available for on-call support as needed.
  • Valuable Oracle DBA experience
  • In cooperation with TOS app, deliver 24x7x365 (follow the sun) support to end users and system consumers N4 and related applications.Expand support model to all locations globally.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

As a Senior SAP Master Data Management Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing our global master data strategy using the SAP MDG suite. You will work in close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and data stewards to build scalable, high-integrity MDM processes for core domains such as Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of SAP MDG-based solutions across core master data domains.
  • Partner with Global Process Owners and Data Stewards to define governance frameworks, data standards, and data ownership models.
  • Translate business requirements into SAP MDG requirements (configurations and enhancements), leveraging best practices.
  • Support data quality initiatives using SAP Information Steward and SAP BODS.
  • Act as an SAP MDG Product Owner in a cross-functional development team (including external SAP consultants).
  • Contribute to the integration roadmap toward SAP Business Data Cloud.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, ensuring MDM is embedded in enterprise initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Master Data Management with a strong focus on SAP MDM or SAP MDG.

About The Team

The position holder will be part of the Model Risk team, within the Risk Management structure at Nubank.

The Model Risk team is the second line of defense for our models. Our mission is to ensure Nubank relies on world-class solutions that will lead to optimal and sustainable decisions. We act by providing independent review & challenge to models, staying tuned to cutting edge techniques, along with business and customers needs. We also work to identify and control risks related to our models, as well as in the definition and implementation of feedback loops to constantly improve them.

About The Role
  • Provide effective challenges, identify risks, and enhancement opportunities, and engage with other Data Scientists and Business Analysts to strengthen our decision-making tools;
  • Discuss and report model risk status and independent opinions on models with different stakeholders, including senior managers and regulators;
  • Contribute to the consolidation of and improve Nubank's Model Risk Management and Model Review frameworks with autonomy and creativity;
  • Be exposed to different types of decisions and processes (e.g. credit, fraud, operations and in different countries)
  • Conduct independent reviews of quantitative models based on statistical, machine learning and AI techniques, with a stronger focus on credit models;
  • Develop playbooks and toolkits (Python, Scala, SQL, etc.) to optimize model reviews, ongoing models monitoring, and assess the impact of models in decisions;
  • Ensure the team maintains a high level of technical excellence.
We are looking for a person who has
  • Great communication skills: clear, concise and structured.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for identifying risk factors and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Experience developing or validating machine learning models used to leverage important decision-making processes or to solve relevant academic problems;

  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a sense of prioritization
  • Data Science skills, strong knowledge of machine learning tools and techniques;

The position holder will be part of the Model Risk team, within the Risk Management structure at Nubank.

The Model Risk team is the second line of defense for our models. Our mission is to ensure Nubank relies on world-class solutions that will lead to optimal and sustainable decisions. We act by providing independent review & challenge to models, staying tuned to cutting edge techniques, along with business and customers needs. We also work to identify and control risks related to our models, as well as in the definition and implementation of feedback loops to constantly improve them.

About The Role

  • Provide effective challenges, identify risks, and enhancement opportunities, and engage with other Data Scientists and Business Analysts to strengthen our decision-making tools;
  • Discuss and report model risk status and independent opinions on models with different stakeholders, including senior managers and regulators;
  • Contribute to the consolidation of and improve Nubank's Model Risk Management and Model Review frameworks with autonomy and creativity;
  • Be exposed to different types of decisions and processes (e.g. credit, fraud, operations and in different countries)
  • Conduct independent reviews of quantitative models based on statistical, machine learning and AI techniques, with a stronger focus on credit models;
  • Develop playbooks and toolkits (Python, Scala, SQL, etc.) to optimize model reviews, ongoing models monitoring, and assess the impact of models in decisions;
  • Ensure the team maintains a high level of technical excellence.

We Are Looking For a Person Who Has

  • Great communication skills: clear, concise and structured.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for identifying risk factors and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Experience developing or validating machine learning models used to leverage important decision-making processes or to solve relevant academic problems;
  • Interest in reviewing complex machine learning and other types of models to identify risks and propose enhancements;
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a sense of prioritization
  • Data Science skills, strong knowledge of machine learning tools and techniques;
  • Strong programming skills, desirable previous experience with Python, SQL, GitHub;
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels
  • Organized and detail-oriented, without losing track of the big picture;
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Previous experience in credit risk management and/or other risk management frameworks would be a plus
  • Master's degree or relevant undergraduate scientific project would be a plus
  • Previous knowledge of expected loss provisions modeling would be a plus

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Database Consultant within our ALI Americas group. We are seeking a Database Consultant to join our Delivery Excellence team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle-based database solutions across hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle technologies, a strong understanding of cloud architectures, and a commitment to delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance database services. Experience in multiple relational or non-relational platforms is highly desired.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Oracle database solutions in AWS environments, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Administer and optimize Oracle databases running on Oracle Linux, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Develop and maintain database automation scripts and utilities using PL/SQL, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with application and infrastructure strategies.
  • Define and enforce database standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Monitor and tune database performance, manage capacity planning, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members and peers.
Education / Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Database administration and engineering in enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle Linux and related system administration tasks.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Python, and scripting for automation and data processing.
  • Solid understanding of database security, backup/recovery, and high availability architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Oracle certifications preferred.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Desired Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native database services in AWS and Azure.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB is highly desired.
