Sobre a oportunidade:
Estamos em busca de um(a) Senior Consultant para atuar como Spark Developer em um projeto estratégico para um dos maiores players do setor financeiro global. Essa é uma excelente chance para profissionais com forte background técnico em engenharia de dados e interesse em trabalhar em um ambiente de alta performance, colaborando com um cliente internacional na área de serviços financeiros.
Principais Responsabilidades:
- Desenvolver, otimizar e manter pipelines de dados utilizando Apache Spark .
- Trabalhar em conjunto com times técnicos e de negócios para garantir a entrega de soluções eficientes e escaláveis.
- Colaborar com stakeholders internacionais, comunicando de forma clara requisitos, progresso e resultados técnicos.
- Aplicar boas práticas de engenharia de dados e versionamento de código em ambiente colaborativo.
- Atuar na identificação e resolução de problemas técnicos relacionados a performance, volume de dados e integração.
Requisitos Essenciais:
- Experiência comprovada como Spark Developer , atuando com processamento distribuído de dados em larga escala.
- Sólida base técnica em engenharia de dados e programação (ex: Scala, Python ou Java ).
- Boas habilidades de comunicação e capacidade de interação com clientes e equipes globais.
- Inglês avançado para colaboração diária com times multiculturais.
Requisitos Desejáveis:
- Experiência prévia em projetos para o setor financeiro, especialmente com serviços bancários.
- Conhecimentos em plataformas de Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.).
- Vivência com ambientes em Cloud (AWS, GCP ou Azure).
- Familiaridade com ferramentas de versionamento (Git) e metodologias ágeis.

**Your role and responsibilities**
The Data Engineer with a specialization in the AWS ecosystem works advising, developing and maintaining data engineering solutions in the AWS cloud. They are responsible for designing, building and operating batch and real-time data pipelines using services such as AWS Glue, AWS EMR, Glue Catalog and Kinesis.
They also create data layers in RedShift, Aurora and DynamoDB, as well as performing migrations with AWS DMS. Mastery of the main components of the AWS Data Platform is essential, including S3, RedShift Spectrum, AWS Glue with Spark and Python, Lambda Functions, Glue Catalog and Glue Databrew. Experience in data pipelines for Data Warehouse and Data Lake, using Kinesis, Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow and dbt, as well as Spark/Python or Spark/Scala on AWS, is highly valued.
The Engineer schedules and manages data services on AWS, ensuring flawless integration and operation of data engineering solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, EMR, Spark (PySpark) and Python.
- Build and operate batch and real-time data pipelines, integrating multiple sources and destinations (S3, RedShift, Aurora, DynamoDB).
- Implement and optimize workflows and dataframes for high performance and reliability.
- Migrate data using AWS DMS and manage data catalogs with Glue Catalog.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations with AWS Quicksight.
- Apply Data Mesh principles for distributed data architecture and governance.
- Use open source tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark/Scala.
- Ensuring data quality, security and governance throughout the lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that support advanced analytics and business intelligence.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
'- Proven and practical experience with AWS Glue, Spark (conceptual), PySpark and Python.
- Knowledge of Data Mesh and distributed data architecture.
- Experience with AWS Quicksight, S3, RedShift, Aurora, DynamoDB, Glue Catalog, Glue Databrew, Lambda Functions.
- Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines (Kinesis, Kafka).
- Mastery of SQL and dataframe manipulation.
- Experience with tools such as Apache Airflow and dbt.

Big Data Engineer at BairesDev
Big Data Engineers will face numerous business-impacting challenges, so they must be ready to use state-of-the-art technologies and be familiar with different IT domains such as Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Mobile, Web, IoT, etc. They are passionate, active members of our community who enjoy sharing knowledge, challenging, and being challenged by others and are genuinely committed to improving themselves and those around them.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside Developers, Tech Leads, and Architects to build solutions that transform users’ experience.
- Impact the core of business by improving existing architecture or creating new ones.
- Create scalable and high-availability solutions, and contribute to the key differential of each client.
- 6+ years of experience working as a Developer (Ruby, Python, Java, JS, preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Big Data (Comfortable with enterprises' Big Data topics such as Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Impact Analysis, and Policy Enforcement).
- Proficient in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Experience building data pipelines to handle large volumes of data (either leveraging well-known tools or custom-made ones).
- Advanced English level.
- Building Data Lakes with Lambda/Kappa/Delta architecture.
- DataOps, particularly creating and managing batch and real-time data ingestion and processing processes.
- Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality.
- Modernizing enterprise data warehouses and business intelligence environments with open-source tools.
- Deploying Big Data solutions to the cloud (Cloudera, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Performing real-time data visualization and time series analysis using open-source and commercial solutions.
- 100% remote work (from anywhere).
