The Opportunity
Business Process Owner work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions, including: identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives; making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology; researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).
How You'll Make An Impact
- Execute the demands from the business relating to IT, with a thorough understanding of processes, capturing requisites, desires, and necessities, and clarifying all user doubts.
- Manage the execution of business demands with a timeline for all stages, organize information, build flows, and define the structure of solutions. Maintain involvement of the business in all stages, with communications plans, tests and validations.
- Keep systems running and provide user support as a SPOC (Single Point Of Contact).
- Understand business routines to suggest improvements to reduce costs, reduce lead time, improve quality, etc.
- Create and maintain manuals of systems and processes, including flows, screens, and technical specifications.
- Be a SPOC for global initiatives and implementations and lead them.
- Develop a training plan for system users and execute it periodically, with onboarding plans for new users.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Degree: Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or similar.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, ERP SAP, development tools, PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint.
- Advanced English (required).
- Intermediate Spanish (desirable).
