Principais Responsabilidades

- Conhecimento básico sobre metodologias ágeis (Scrum, Kanban, etc) e papel do P.O dentro de squads multidisciplinares;
- Familiaridade com ferramentas como Jira, Trello, Notion, Confluence ou similares.
- Experiência prévia como P.O, Analista de Produto ou cargos relacionados, mesmo que em projetos acadêmicos ou iniciativas internas;
- Conhecimento sobre métricas de produto (engajamento, conversão, NPS, churn) e OKRs;

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist to join our team and support Mastercard's strategy related to alternative payment methods (APM) in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple projects and collaborating with global and local stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set a customer-centric product vision; ensure consistent alignment between business priorities, development objectives and market trends
• Define product usage metrics and work with development teams to monitor
• Deepen understanding of customers’ needs, motivations, and pain points
• Build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
• Identify issues, risks, and dependencies to track product development
• Own and manage product documentation that expands knowledge beyond product team
• Intake Process Management: Design, develop, and maintain the intake process to capture new opportunities for partnerships or identify threats that require attention.
• Risk and Opportunity Monitoring: Partner with global and local teams to track and monitor the risks and opportunities within the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region and incorporate them into the APMs strategy.
• Project Management: Act as project manager for multiple projects and workstreams with APMs happening in parallel across the region.
• Impact Analysis and Documentation: Capture the impact in value of the projects and construct documentation for directional decision-making to the Steering Committees.
• Progress Reporting: Report on the progress of the initiatives to Senior Management.

The Opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is seeking candidates to work as a part of the Hub Marketing and Sales or Product Line in Power Transformers. The Regional Product Manager (RPM) will work directly with the Hub Marketing and Sales Manager for Power Transformer or eventually for the PT Product Line Manager and will report functionally to the Global Product Manager (GPM).
As a Regional Product Manager, you will play a vital role in providing the Voice of the Customer in the region with structured proposals to Global Product Managers and lead the market introduction in the Regions and the implementation of the mid-long term strategy and competitiveness programs. You will be accountable for gathering the information about Market drivers, new products, applications and technical requirements and Competitors portfolio analysis. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collaborate with BDMs, M&S, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Project/Contract management departments to ensure the seamless integration of products into the production line and meet customer requirements.

Product Definition and Market needs and Standardization
Provides input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiatives
Provides feedback to Global Product Managers on existing and new product performance.
Leads the Market introduction of new products in coordination with Hub M&S, Hub Application Engineering. Create and adapt marketing information to the respective market/region based on the Market Introduction Plan and in alignment with the GPMs and GPMM.
Identify co-creation/partnership opportunities
Monitors the regional product requirements (changes in regulations, standards, legislations, …)
Competitor benchmarking (market intelligence, new releases).
Establish product standardization guidelines and protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for component standardization, cost reduction, and process optimization.
Define the key Market events in the region and supports the GPM and GPMM in the decision of attending those key events.
Mid-Long-term strategy in the region
Implements global portfolio strategy into the region
Monitors Investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy.
Supports and drives ToT Transfer of Technology activities in the region according the GPG strategy Influence future designs / investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy and Market needs. Support the Global Product Manager in the definition of the technical implications of the initiatives for the Global and Regional competitiveness programs.
Competitiveness Programs
Drives the implementation and business cases for DtV projects, Competitiveness Programs and new regional R&D initiatives.
Enhances our Competitiveness and market knowledge.
Quality Assurance and HSE
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and scalability.
Provide guidance and support to manufacturing teams during the transition and ramp-up phases, addressing any product-related challenges or issues.
Follows up the Regional GPG Quality KPIs and supports technically Quality in the RCA preparation and the corrective action plan elaboration.
Follows up the GPG regional HSE KPIs and support the HSE programs implementation in the Region according the GPG and BU strategy.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background:
– MSc or BSc Engineering degree.
– Proven experience in product management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
– Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality standards.
– Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet project milestones. Structured and analytical thinking.
