Quality Assurance Analyst
**This is an administrative, non-technical position focused on document review and proofreading.**

The Quality Assurance Analyst will provide quality assessments of language translation projects in order to ensure we meet our client’s quality standards.
Key Elements of the Role:
- This is a fully remote position.
- Working hours during the 30-day training period will be Monday - Friday 10:00PM - 6:00PM Brazil time. Once training is complete, working hours will change to Monday - Friday 10:00AM - 6:00PM Brazil time.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required for this role as you would be collaborating with and supporting team members internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete quality review of translations.
- Collaborate with Project Management Team to clarify project parameters.
- Communicate effectively with vendors world-wide in order to reconcile any found errors.
- Implement process improvements using available technology solutions.

The Quality Control Manager, as a member of our growing Quality Assurance team, will serve as a technical expert and will lead the QA/QC process of land development plan submissions. This person will play a key role in improving technical standards, value engineering, and eliminating design issues before and during construction. The QC Manager will also work closely with staff to develop a culture of technical excellence. This position will support the entire company and can be based in any of our offices. If you are not local, flexible arrangements can be made.
- Perform independent technical review in the areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design.
- Identify potential design or constructability issues and provide value engineering for solutions that meet project requirements while reducing costs.
- Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
- Work collaboratively with the project managers and multi-disciplined design teams.
- Verify that design and code requirements have been defined by the project engineer and have been indicated on the design documents.
- Lead regular training and development sessions to foster an environment of technical excellence.
- Provide vision and guidance to the firm in the area of Design and Production of technical deliverables.
- Perform periodic evaluations of staff to identify training needs within assigned region and report to Head of QA.
- Assist in training material preparation and lead training as needed.Assist in improvement of design tools, processes and procedures.
- Balance your own workload in a deadline driven environment.
- Manage a small team in future.
- Travel to other offices when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential and/or commercial/industrial/office site design and permitting experience).
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a plus
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop.
- Familiar with BlueBeam for mark ups
- In depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
- Advanced skill level in design capabilities.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Proficient grading and drainage design skills.
- Utility design experience including pump station and force mains.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Independent and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work and lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring.

- Participate in P&ID development, HAZOP, plant commissioning and start-up, technical risk analysis, safety and environmental assessments and documentation, ASU troubleshooting and investigations.
- Ensure successful completion of assigned project phases on schedule and within budget.
- Review technical aspects of vendor equipment proposals.
- Review and check project specific drawings and data sheets to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of process performance test specifications for air separation plants.
- Interface with customers and suppliers as required.
- Stay current with new process technologies and industry best practices.
- Assist in developing department best practices, processes, procedures, tools, and standard specifications.
- Collect and maintain Lessons Learned logs and support continuous improvement efforts.
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience in Cryogenic or Non-Cryogenic Air Separation industries.
- Experience in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Heat and Material Balances.
- Knowledge of process simulators.
- Understanding of process equipment sizing, material selection, and utility calculations.

Bachelors in Chemical Engineering
- Experience in the Cryogenic Air Separation and/or Non-Cryogenic Adsorption Air Separation industry.
- Experience in the development of Process Flow Diagram (PFDs) and Heat and Material Balances.
- Working knowledge of one or more process simulators.
- Working knowledge of Process Equipment and Line Sizing, material selection and calculating Utility requirements.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office Software skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as effective problem-solving skills.
