As Quality Control Analyst you will guarantee and assure that company’s products (hydraulic components and systems) and the materials used in manufacturing them meet the required standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality for customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on the appropriateness of data for release.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet predefined quality standards and specifications.
- Collect and document data from quality tests, inspections, and audits, and maintain accurate records of quality control processes.
- Perform visual inspections of finished products and provide assistance to production staff in terms of quality control procedures.
- Identify and analyze any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in the finished products or processes, and collaborate with relevant teams to amend these issues.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management and relevant stakeholders on the results of quality control tests.
- Provide guidance to production and quality control staff on quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Lead the creation of quality documents within scope of customer projects (Industrial Pumps and Auxiliary Systems).
- Lead plant's ISO audits and Customer Quality audits with support from corporate's quality team.
- Unroll company´s global Quality Managment System into Ruhrpumpen Jundiai plant.
Requirements:
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering areas (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
- Experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control for Industrial plants in Brazil
- Languages: Conversational English is a must, Spanish proficiency is desirable.
- IT systems: Office Package & CAD viewing (drawings interpretation) necessary, PowerBI tools are desirable.

Amazon's Fulfillment Centers are the beating heart of the company's logistics network, annually distributing millions of products to our customers worldwide. Within Fulfillment Centers, ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) owns standard work, operations innovation, and process improvement. We work on the inputs that improve quality, productivity, and speed.
ACES Ops Brazil is seeking leaders to work in the Process Engineering (PE) team. The PE team is a diverse group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the Customer Fulfillment network. This team is essential to establish and execute benchmark operating standards, accelerate implementation of technology advancements, and to strengthen process knowledge for the operational leaders across the FC network. As we continue to rapidly grow our FC footprint and infuse the organization with new talent, we need to ensure the operations teams are equipped with the needed process knowledge, established standards and benchmark practices for great process control. The team will utilize tools to understand process control and establish process understanding with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, buildings and regions. The team will also work closely with other ACES teams to define, teach, and translate standard work across the entire Ops network.
Key job responsibilities
As a Process Engineer, you will focus on the intersection of physical standards and logical processes to pursue variation reduction, optimize standard work to reduce cost, and build mechanisms to drive compliance toward the standards. You will be responsible for the prioritization of efforts within the buildings, region, and country to reduce variation from the standards and ultimately improve process control and performance. You will also have a leading role in the launch of new buildings and programs. This role requires the ability to insist on the highest standards for process execution, interpreting data, and leading through influence to deliver meaningful results in efficiency gains across the country.
A day in the life
- Evaluate performance metrics to proactively identify process improvement opportunities;
- Audit, teach, and drive execution to the benchmark standards while acting as a catalyst for continuous improvement;
- Develop and implement detailed standard operating procedures;
- Partner with operational leaders within the FCs to execute standard work and process improvements driving standardization across the network;
- Partner with other ACES teams to review critical inputs, new training, best practice sharing, and documentation to drive benchmark performance;
- Work with cross-functional teams such as Engineering and Supply Chain to deploy network wide initiatives;
- Ability to use Lean Six Sigma (and other) tools to create scalable mechanisms;
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time to FCs across the country.

The WW Process Capacity Engineer works cross-functionally and responsible for a variety of topics related to mechanical capacity management in the Process Engineering domain. The role's scope spans across different planning horizons, from short to long term, and collaborates closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions: Operations, Engineering, Launch & Expansion, Design and Planning.
The WW Process Capacity Engineering team is seeking an accomplished, analytical, hands-on and customer obsessed Process Capacity Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for 4 core functions: (1) Own capacity calculation, drive insights & optimization for all planning cycles (3-Year Plan, Operational Plans (OP1/OP2) and High-Volume Events planning). (2) Own operations clock design, maintenance and improvement for your respective region/country. (3) Support and validate launch and retrofit assessments. (4) Forecast demand and manage supply for Volume-Driven Equipment.
The role is inherently cross-functional. You will have an opportunity to work with program managers, process engineers and operations leaders to define, improve and optimize the mechanical capacity of our delivery stations across the WW network. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work in a dynamic environment, think big and be comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity. This position requires deep customer focus, strong self-drive and strong analytical skills. You will need to be detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture and business goals. You should have strong communication skills, be comfortable in analyzing data to provide data-driven recommendations, and be able to partner with stakeholders to arrive at the best result for our customers.
This role is based in Sao Paulo and requires occasional travel.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the monthly and yearly cadence of mechanical capacity planning cycles for a particular country/region.
- Analyze and make design recommendations for stations' mechanical capacity to meet customer demand.
- Own analysis of performance against plan/forecast to drive continuous improvement.
- Forecast demand and manage supply of Volume-Driven Equipment needs.
- Lead dedicated programs to benchmark speed and capacity opportunities in the region.
- Support reporting cycles for Process Engineering/Capacity as well as High Volume Events in partnership with Peak Captains and Ops leaders
- Provide actionable insights from strong analysis of large amounts of data
- Apply best practices from and share best practices with WW counterparts.
A day in the life
Your day could include engagement with all levels of the organization and multiple stakeholder groups to drive short, mid and long term decisions that have large-scale impact across the AMZL network. You will use our internal tools to produce capacity calculations and varying levels of granularity and generate insights for operational and strategic decision making. You will work independently but as part of a team with similar responsibilities for other regions/topics. Your scope will alternate between a single country and WW, depending on the topic at hand.
About the team
The AMZL WW Process Engineering team partners closely with AMZL Operations and support functions to identify, design and develop best-in-class process infrastructure and process layouts, and to deliver them as AMZL network standard infrastructure. To enable this, the team supports prioritization of regional and WW continuous improvement initiatives in addition to cross-regional benchmarking. Irrespective of home location, all team members work on a mix of regional and WW initiatives.
Basic Qualifications

Your role and responsibilities as ICQA Area Manager:
