The Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting primarily has responsibility for the general ledger and financial reporting tasks, inclusive of the consolidations function. The individual in this role is required to have in-depth accounting knowledge at the corporate level, extensive experience with SAP, and the ability to solve complex accounting issues. This position regularly interacts with other corporate departments.

• * Active/Integral member of the Finance team focused on driving standardization, simplification and process improvements * Coordinate the global consolidation process, working closely with our individual legal entity contacts * Perform month- end closing activities, inclusive of month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards * Interact with cross-functional teams that include controllership, financial planning and analysis, operations, treasury, tax, investor relations, legal, human resources, internal and external audit, and others, as necessary * Work closely with our IT function, leveraging past experiences to enhance our Corporate close process and streamlining our monthly, quarterly, and year-end activities * Analyze corporate department spending variances and assist in the Corporate budgeting process * Perform administration of Blackline reconciliation and task management tools * Facilitate monthly and quarterly reporting needs * Support audit requests * Improves internal controls and ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley * Safeguards confidential information * Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules * Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs

• Perform accounting reconciliations and record the company's balance sheet accounts, such as taxes, various advances, imports, capital expenditures, payroll, etc., by recording, analyzing, and correcting through accounting entries, aiming for accurate results and information.
• Execute monthly closing routines, processing, consolidating, and analyzing the generated information.
• Execute the control of accounts payable and receivable in order to minimize inherent risks. Ensure the receipt of portfolio collections on the due date or take measures to minimize overdue balances, carrying out friendly or judicial collection when necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of cash forecasts and the daily position of available funds.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of records and statements.
• Analyze monthly expenses, providing support to department managers.
• Conduct financial and accounting analyses to ensure the reasonableness of monthly results.
• Ensure the reliability of the balance sheet numbers.
• Conduct the analysis of information generated at closing to feed data into the headquarters' information system.
• Perform the entry of accounting spreadsheets and payment requests in the system.
• Provide the requested information and attend to internal (Corporate) and external (independent auditors) audits.
