  • Intermediate English -it is possible be more flexible
  • Proven hands-on Software Development experience working with the last versions of Java as the main programming language and familiarity using functionalities like Lambdas and Java Streams.
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (e.g. ,JPA2, Hibernate, MyBatis).
  • Experience in developing applications using Spring frameworks.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery development processes using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito.
  • Experience building REST APIs.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with other things not listed above would be valuable, like: Data modeling, Docker, Kubernetes, JSF, Messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, PubSub. etc), NoSQL, Agile methodology and Clean code.

What is the scope of this role?

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical Lead for Development Team.
  • Escalation point of contact for Netcracker Technical management teams.
  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects and usher them through the entire lifecycle.

  • Able to understand the delivered solution and speak towards functionality and impact analysis of delivered artifacts.
  • Participate in selection of new resources.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Experience Managing Development teams.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in software development activities.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Strong familiarity with source code management systems.
  • Experienced in Continuous Integration, Configuration Management, Agile and iterative processes.
  • UML Experienced with SOA, TDD, Principles.
  • Development process organization.
  • Design Reviews.
  • Fluent in both English and Portuguese languages.
  • Availability to work from office in Hybrid mode.
  • Previous experience working with Telecoms or IT Integration companies is a plus.

Education:
