As part of the Americas Corporate Communications team, you’ll manage daily PR and social media routines, such as creating content, mapping journalists and influencers, tracking performance, and supporting integrated campaigns.
You’ll also collaborate with marketing and sales (B2B & B2C) and contribute to global initiatives adapted for Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Development
- Write and review PR materials: press releases, articles, presentations, official statements, FAQs, and fact sheets.
- Create and adapt content for social media: scripts, copy for visual assets, and digital campaign materials.
- Draft executive bios and corporate documents (including content for corporate websites and internal portals).
- Copyedit, proofread, and adapt communications, reports, and translations.
- Produce and customize media pitches in English and Portuguese.
- Translate communication materials into English or Portuguese when needed (we work with a translation provider).
2. Strategy and Planning
- Support the planning, development, and execution of product communication campaigns and corporate projects, integrating traditional and digital channels to promote the company’s brand, products, technologies, and positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and expert teams to ensure alignment of messaging and initiatives.
- Work closely with global corporate communications teams to support media requests, as well as implement global campaigns and projects in the local market.
- Oversee and coordinate the production of PR and social media materials developed by external agencies and vendors.
- Contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming for campaigns, events, and special initiatives.
3. Operations and Reporting
- Manage social media promotion: launching, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns.
- Support the organization and execution of PR and social media events.
- Map journalists, influencers, and monitor industry trends.
- Track media coverage and analyze PR and social media performance metrics.
- Consolidate and review reports provided by PR and social media agencies across the Americas region – and prepare social media reports as needed.
- Prepare analyses on the effectiveness of departmental activities and campaigns.
- Provide support for media outreach and stakeholder engagement when needed.
- Organize agendas, schedules, and administrative routines related to events and projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
- Previous experience in PR or Social Media (minimum of 2 years). Experience in both areas is a plus but not mandatory. Writing/journalism experience is also valued.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to adapt language for different channels (press, social media, corporate) in Portuguese and English .
- Desirable understanding of the technology market ; strong interest in learning about cybersecurity, innovation, and technology is mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to supervise partners/agencies, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work both in teams and independently.
- Resourceful, solution-oriented, and able to handle unexpected situations.
- Must be able to see all assigned tasks through from beginning to end.
- Fluent English (for interaction with regional and global teams). Spanish is also a plus.

Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading activities with media and content creators in Brazil to help manage the company's corporate reputation in the country and help communicate Apple's contribution locally, focused on key areas such as accessibility, education, customer privacy, and environmental leadership. The role requires an ability to think strategically and to execute activations with a high attention to detail. It also requires a proven ability to anticipate, manage and mitigate PR issues, working closely with local and global teams. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the initiatives that increase awareness and understanding of Apple and how the company is a force for good. This may include the Product PR team, Product Marketing and Marcom teams as well as Government Affairs, Retail and Legal teams across the organization. You will help devise and execute global communications initiatives that resonate with the local audience as well as create and bring to life a local corporate communications strategy. Responsibilities will include strategic planning and execution, identifying and managing issues in a fast-paced environment and continuous news cycle. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the wider management team in the region and also be tightly coordinating with worldwide PR teams. Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in public relations, in-house or in an agency setting.
- Experience in media relations and a strong network of media and influencer contacts in tech, policy, environment and sustainability spaces.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.

- Strong relationships with media and influencers in technology and policy, with a proven track record of developing and placing impactful stories.

Support the planning, development, and execution of product communication campaigns and corporate projects, integrating traditional and digital channels to promote the company’s brand, products, technologies, and positioning.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and expert teams to ensure alignment of messaging and initiatives.
Work closely with global corporate communications teams to support media requests, as well as implement global campaigns and projects in the local market.
Oversee and coordinate the production of PR and social media materials developed by external agencies and vendors.
Contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming for campaigns, events, and special initiatives.
3. Operations and Reporting
Manage social media promotion: launching, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns.
Support the organization and execution of PR and social media events.
Map journalists, influencers, and monitor industry trends.
Track media coverage and analyze PR and social media performance metrics.
Consolidate and review reports provided by PR and social media agencies across the Americas region – and prepare social media reports as needed.
Prepare analyses on the effectiveness of departmental activities and campaigns.
Provide support for media outreach and stakeholder engagement when needed.
Organize agendas, schedules, and administrative routines related to events and projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
Previous experience in PR or Social Media(minimum of 2 years). Experience in both areas is a plus but not mandatory. Writing/journalism experience is also valued.
Excellentwriting skillsand ability to adapt language for different channels (press, social media, corporate) inPortuguese and English.
Desirableunderstanding of the technology market ; strong interest in learning about cybersecurity, innovation, and technology is mandatory.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to supervise partners/agencies, and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work both in teams and independently.
Resourceful, solution-oriented, and able to handle unexpected situations.
Must be able to see all assigned tasks through from beginning to end.
Fluent English(for interaction with regional and global teams).Spanishis also a plus.
