Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic, cross-functional eCommerce initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Partner with senior business leaders to define project goals, success indicators, and plans that support broader objectives.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across marketing, merchandising, IT, analytics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution and adoption.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in related area
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) are strongly preferred.
- 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on eCommerce
- Advanced level of English (spoken and written) – must be able to present project updates and communicate effectively with global teams.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale digital initiatives, ideally in a global organization.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce ecosystems, including platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce), analytics, and customer experience technologies.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
- Experience managing offshore and cross-functional teams in a hybrid or remote environment.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, XML, Java) and software development lifecycles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Willingness to work flexible, non-traditional hours to accommodate global communications and coordination.

About Role
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Cross-Border Manager to lead and strategically manage multiple areas within our cross-border operations. This role requires a highly driven leader who will add value through operations, system integration, regulatory management, and proactive team development. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and capable of navigating complex operational challenges in a fast-paced cross-border logistics environment. This position will act as the key pillar in ensuring the sustainable growth of the cross-border business in South America, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and drive team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end customs clearance process , ensuring timely and compliant release of all shipments.
- Monitor daily operations performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement and addressing challenges proactively.
- Analyze bottlenecks, determine root causes, and drive resolution actions with internal teams and external partners.
- Define and implement strategic plans for Peak Seasons, holidays, and specific high-demand dates, ensuring operational readiness and service level adherence.
- Develop allocation strategies for different clearance channels to optimize capacity, cost, and speed.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customs brokers, warehouse teams, and government agencies to ensure compliance and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, operational analyses, and improvement proposals to management.
- Ensure that all customs processes are aligned with local regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Support new initiatives, projects, and system enhancements related to customs operations.
- Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedure s (SOPs) to optimize customs clearance operations.
- Leverage strong data analysis skills to identify and resolve demand and backlog inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT and operations to design and implement systemic changes for automation, tracking progress through JIRA and weekly follow-ups.
- Manage outsourced clearance systems and payment solutions, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate operations.
- Monitor Customs Authorities and regulatory updates to maintain full compliance for self-clearance warehouses and couriers.
- Address compliance issues proactively, implementing effective risk mitigation measures.
- Coordinate closely with Government Relations, Legal, Tax, and other departments to align regulatory interpretations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain operations; cross-border logistics experience.
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedure and have ease and familiarity with interpreting customs regulations.
- Experience working with logistics service providers and warehouse operations.
- Experience in customs clearance of international express shipments and Courier operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and logistics tracking systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese; Chinese is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic international environment.
