The Opportunity: DATA ENGINEER

The Data Engineer will be responsible for leading and powering data-driven decisions and leveling-up the data and analytics tools of the Zurich organization. By leveraging new technology, the ZCAM data engineering team ensures that all stakeholders in the organization can efficiently access reliable and accurate data. Data engineers will develop, implement, and refine the standards, tools, and methodologies that make up the desired analysis environment within the organization. Their expertise will help create a strong data foundation within Zurich that keeps everyone informed and moving forward.

Responsibilities

1. Defining and implementing scalable and flexible data analytics architecture based on current and future business needs mainly utilizing Databricks platform
2. Build and optimize complex data pipelines, and ETL processes for processing large-scale datasets
3. Integration, consolidation, cleansing and structuring of large data sets to enable business insights, reporting and ML/AI use cases
4. Delivering business insights by consolidating various data sources to understand business performance (e.g., sales data, customer satisfaction data, digital analytics data)
5. Sourcing, collecting and researching new internal and open-source external data sets
6. Defining and implementing data governance processes
7. Plan and prepare data engineering and analysis work between technical teams
8. Engage with business stakeholders to prepare and coordinate data sharing and data

Sua missão em nosso time será:

Como Data Engineering Manager você nos ajudará a conectar as frentes de produto, tecnologia e pessoas na estrutura de Data Plataform, sendo responsável pelas plataformas de missão crítica, gerenciando todo o fluxo de extrato do Brasil. Além disso, desempenhará um papel fundamental na Transformação Tecnológica : Liderando a transição de sistemas legados (Oracle, PL SQL, OpenShift ) para tecnologias modernas (Spark/Scala, SQL, Databricks, Atlas, Kubernetes ), garantindo a continuidade dos negócios e a minimização de riscos.

Principais desafios:

• Liderança e Inspiração: Liderar equipes de desenvolvimento de tecnologia, fornecendo orientação técnica e liderança eficaz, incluindo acompanhamentos de 1:1s, construção de PDIs e gestão orçamentária.
• Colaboração com Stakeholders: Trabalhar com stakeholders internos e externos para entender necessidades e expectativas, garantindo a entrega de soluções tecnológicas eficazes.
• Cultura de Inovação: Desenvolver e promover uma cultura de inovação, colaboração e aprendizado contínuo dentro da equipe.
• Fornecer informações de conciliações para pequenos, médios e grandes comércios | Extratos online e regulartório/bandeiras/BACEN.

O que é necessário pra se inscrever:

• Gerenciamento de Mudanças Organizacionais: Forte habilidade para gerir mudanças e inovação dentro da organização.
• Gestão de Riscos: Experiência em identificar e gerenciar riscos.
• Conhecimento em Arquitetura de Software: Sólido conhecimento em padrões de arquitetura de software e engenharia de software.
• Experiência em Gestão de Times Técnicos: Experiência comprovada em liderar equipes técnicas.
• Gestão de Stakeholders: Habilidade para gerenciar stakeholders complexos.
• Inglês Avançado: Proficiência em inglês.
• Conhecimentos em Cloud: Experiência com tecnologias de nuvem e migração de sistemas legados para plataformas de nuvem (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Conhecimentos Técnicos: Conhecimento sólido em ORACLE, PL SQL, SQL, JAVA, DATABRICKS, SPARK/SCALA e API´s.
• Integração de Sistemas: Experiência em integrar novos sistemas com infraestruturas existentes, garantindo a interoperabilidade e a eficiência operacional.

Requisitos desejáveis:

• Experiência em Empresas de Adquirência/Tecnologia: Experiência prévia em empresas de adquirência ou tecnologia.
• Experiência com Fluxo de Extrato Financeiro: Familiaridade com o fluxo de extrato financeiro.
