What You'll Do
As a
Senior Analyst (SA)
within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team. You will work together with case teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory for diagnostics and live projects and deliver against commercial priorities for the Operations Vantage Team business.
In addition, you will support with guidance from senior colleagues, your topic in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of latest, high-quality content. You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the procurement topic business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts.
The
Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices
and helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities. The Procurement Topic Area is an expert network of Vantage members and experienced consultants who help clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., procurement strategy, operating model, digital transformation, sustainable procurement, risk & resilience, etc.).
As a SA On Client Focus (CF) Track For The Operations Practice Area & Procurement Business In Brazil, You Will Be
- Driving problem solving and solutioning for clients generating insights towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context
- Leading development and commercialization of Procurement knowledge and assets, aiming to innovate our offers and enhance our go to market approaches

What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of consulting experience in operations/procurement required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
- 3+ years of Industry or specific sector experience
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum procurement experience required; 4-6+ years of procurement experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor/Master degree from a reputed university with demonstrated academic achievements
- Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (especially Advanced Excel and Power Point). Additional programming skills are a plus.
- Good communication skills to manage senior stakeholders' expectations.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Insurance Practice Area you will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.
Our role expectations are:
- Getting staffed on cases and working from client-site or BCG office for a duration of couple of months by providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issues
- Managing and processing industry focus analysis requests, and assisting consultants with industry specific problems
- Interacting with local teams and use an extensive collection of internal and external information resources to gather, filter, synthesize, package and deliver insights to the Insurance Practice Area
- Working on content pieces with special focus on Latin American Brazil market specific expertise, including industry trends, local and regional competitive landscape, benchmarks, mapping key industry players, amongst others
- Supporting the Insurance PA in Brazil with content development/synthesis for external engagements (Seat at the table events, newspaper articles, etc.)
- Gatekeeping all content developed in the Insurance Practice Area in Brazil in an organized way, identifying content to be sanitized and published for the wider BCG ecosystem

What You'll Do
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SA) within BCG's TCI practice area you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights for our Latam market whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure, solve complex issues, and push the commercial agenda.

- Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in your area of expertise
- Communicating with senior (internal and external) stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
- Codifying knowledge and maintaining assets and tools for the TCI sector based on different client contexts
- Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
- Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
What You'll Bring
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in industry or research of TCI sectors: Travel (Airlines, car rental, leisure), Infrastructure (rail, ports, roads, construction, PPPs/Concession), Cities (Water and Sanitation, Municipal services)
- Candidates with consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Advanced knowledge of Spanish preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
Who You'll Work With
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. Our team is made up of a diverse pool of knowledge positions that allow us to pursue exciting, innovative knowledge careers.
Furthermore you will work together with our growing knowledge team in Latin America, liasing closely with BCG leadership teams, becoming their thought partner for projects and business development activities.

You will be part of BCG's TCI Practice, a thriving and growing area in BCG Brazil and LatAm, which focuses on Travel (airlines, car rental, leisure); Infrastructure (roads, rail, ports, social infra etc; PPPs/concessions) and Cities (water and sanitation; Municipal services, etc). You will work with clients in the private and public spaces, helping them navigate an increasingly complex business environment.
The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
