Overview:

Responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of finished goods and materials planning. This includes ensuring alignment with production requirements and demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to ensure materials and finished goods are managed efficiently and timely.

Core Responsibilities

  • Production Planning Management:
    • Ensure that the production planning of finished goods aligns with sales and forecast requirements.
    • Prevent stockouts and overproduction through strategic alignment and planning.
  • Monitoring and Response to Production and Inventory Alerts:
    • Proactively manage potential disruptions by monitoring production and inventory alerts.
    • Coordinate with the S&OP team to ensure timely product availability.
  • Material Scheduling and Supplier Coordination:
    • Oversee the scheduling of material deliveries and ensure timely receipt from suppliers, aligning with production schedules and logistics capacities.
  • Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with teams across Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Netops, Quality Logistics, and External Partners to enhance planning processes and implement supply network strategies.
  • Performance Tracking and Analysis:
    • Monitor key performance indicators related to production planning.
    • Provide actionable insights to boost operational efficiency.
  • Master Data Accuracy and System-Driven Planning Execution:
    • Ensure systematic, data-driven planning is upheld 100% of the time.
    • Conduct regular quarterly reviews of master data to ensure consistency and accuracy in line with business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend improvements in the planning processes.
    • Provide insights to enhance production efficiency and inventory management.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: Prior experience in Planning or Supply Chain roles.
  • Core Skills:
    • Proficient in communication and data analytics.
    • Intermediate English.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in SAP, Google Collaboration Tools (required)
    • DOMO, and other relevant digital tools (preferred)

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sr. Solution Specialist, you are the reference for the SAP PP&QM solution.

You define and establish target solution , starting from an initial conceptual vision and evolving into a more concrete solution specification. You make high-level design choices according to the business strategy; dictate the standards, guidelines, best practices, and patterns and identify impacts on the information system . You will have to understand business requirements, prepare or review specifications, work effectively with other functional and technical team members, make recommendations, and converge all requirements into one/several solutions.

When specifications are set and solutions defined, you will also ensure the delivery of the solution hand-in-hand with the rest of the team.

In this position, you will have three main roles covering a large scope of responsibilities:

You are the gatekeeper of the PP&QM and it integration with the rest of the ecosystem:

  • Understand the business needs and translate into a solution.
  • With other team members, you design cross processes flows.
  • Work closely and confidently with various departments.
  • You are ensuring maintenance and enhancement of your process.

You act as trusted partner for long term & continuous improvement:

  • Manage business relationship to define target priorities and business value.
  • Ensure communication and be responsible of oneself indicators (measurable KPIs).

In this role you will

  • Develop and maintain advanced network optimization models to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery speed across the supply chain.
  • Evaluate and refine existing optimization models, ensuring they accurately reflect current operational constraints, business objectives, and end-to-end supply chain impact.
  • Design and implement scalable processes for middle-mile (MM) lane planning, integrating with broader supply chain metrics such as cost, speed, and inventory placement.
  • Ensure alignment between operational planning (OP) cycles, guidance, and overall network strategy, including FC capacity, speed plans, and inventory positioning.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across finance, transportation, and network strategy teams to communicate short, mid, and long-term supply chain plans effectively.
  • Support central teams in developing comprehensive supply chain planning chapters for strategic documents and planning cycles.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the finance structure to validate numbers upfront and minimize rework.
  • Create and document overall processes, identify key stakeholders, map data flows, and determine required inputs and expected outputs across the supply chain network.
  • Lead initiatives to scale planning operations, reduce manual workload, and integrate benchmark tools and automation with the SC optimization team.
  • Continuously analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks in the network.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain planning, a strong background in data analysis and modeling, and the ability to translate complex analytical insights into actionable strategies. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels of the organization.

  • Lead network optimization modeling to enhance transportation efficiency and cost;
  • Drive strategic supply chain initiatives for network design improvements;
  • Develop and evaluate optimization models using SCG;
  • Design scalable processes for middle-mile (MM) lane planning.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Partner with finance, transportation, and network strategy teams;
  • Support central team with strategic planning documentation;
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across organization;
  • Validate financial impact of network decisions.

Process & Analytics

  • Create standard operating procedures for planning processes;
  • Drive automation initiatives to increase analytical capabilities;

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in program or project management

- Lead stakeholder engagement across finance, operations, and planning teams to drive inventory optimization initiatives
- Build comprehensive inventory management playbooks and standard operating procedures
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and potential risks
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce carrying costs and improve inventory accuracy
- Support central teams in developing strategic inventory planning for annual operating plans
- Lead initiatives to scale inventory operations and implement automation solutions
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in inventory management, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels of the organization.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Supply chain experience
- Advanced English, both written and oral
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements

Our company, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Permanent Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This role is integral to the smooth operation and success of our business, as it involves overseeing all aspects of our supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to logistics and distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations, while also ensuring compliance with food safety standards and PennDOT regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As our Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, HACCP principles, and PennDOT regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to integrate supply chain functions with business processes.
  • Identifying and managing risk within the supply chain.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Overseeing the management and maintenance of our freezer storage facilities.
  • Implementing new technologies and staying up-to-date with the latest supply chain trends and practices.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on supply chain performance and initiatives to senior management.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Supply Chain Manager, you must have

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with food safety standards and HACCP principles.
  • Experience with PennDOT regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing freezer storage facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and other related technologies.
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
