Responsável por planejar, executar e acompanhar atividades de validação de software, garantindo que as entregas atendam aos padrões de qualidade definidos pela empresa. Atuará de forma próxima aos times de desenvolvimento, produto e automação, contribuindo com o desenho de casos de teste, identificação de riscos e promoção de melhorias contínuas no processo de QA.

Funções Principais

• Elaborar e revisar planos de teste, cenários e casos de teste funcionais e não funcionais.
• Executar testes manuais para validação de funcionalidades, garantindo aderência aos requisitos.
• Identificar, documentar e acompanhar defeitos até sua resolução.
• Apoiar a equipe de automação na definição de cenários prioritários para testes automatizados.
• Contribuir para a evolução dos processos de qualidade, propondo melhorias e disseminando boas práticas.
• Participar ativamente de reuniões de planejamento, refinamento e revisão de entregas junto ao time ágil.
• Auxiliar na análise de requisitos e na identificação de riscos desde as etapas iniciais do desenvolvimento.
• Realizar testes exploratórios para identificar falhas que não foram previstas em cenários formais.
  
  

Qualificações

• Formação superior completa em Ciência da Computação, Engenharia de Software, Sistemas de Informação ou áreas correlatas;
• Experiência consolidada como analista de qualidade;
• Vivência com processos de testes de software e metodologias ágeis;
• Capacidade analítica para identificar riscos e problemas de usabilidade ou performance;
• Boa comunicação para interação com times multidisciplinares.

• Experiência prévia em testes de APIs.
• Conhecimentos básicos em automação de testes ou linguagens de programação (ex.: Java, Python, JavaScript).

Quality Assurance Analyst at Handoff

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Handoff’s AI-powered platform. This role emphasizes hands-on manual testing, exploratory workflows, and close collaboration with Support, CS, Product, and Engineering to surface and resolve issues before they impact our users. Your work will directly contribute to seamless, bug-free product releases, helping remodelers confidently manage their businesses with Handoff.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end, acting as a quality advocate at each stage
• Create and execute test plans for both new and existing features across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and PMs to ensure features are testable, stable, and ready for release
• Work closely with CS, Support, and Sales to reproduce reported issues and validate fixes in production
• Execute manual exploratory testing for complex workflows and edge cases, including regression, smoke, and rollback validation
• Document test plans, coverage, and QA processes for team alignment and continuous improvement
• Contribute to a zero-critical-bugs release culture by enforcing standards around readiness and stability
• Experiment with AI-assisted testing tools to increase coverage and efficiency
  
  
  
  
  

About You

• 3+ years in QA or software testing, with strong experience in manual testing, exploratory QA, and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience working closely with Customer Support, CS, and Product teams to triage and resolve user-facing issues
• Strong test planning and reporting skills - you think in terms of workflows, edge cases, and impact on real users
• Proactive, curious, and user-centric mindset - you seek out inconsistencies and speak up for quality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities and high ownership
• Experience in test automation (Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.) is a nice-to-have
• Familiarity with AI tools or interest in leveraging them to improve testing efficiency is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate user concerns into testable scenarios and actionable feedback

Futurex is seeking talented individuals with a passion for testing software for the position of Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester. This position is on-site at Futurex's office at São Paulo/SP - Brazil.

This on-site role offers an opportunity for candidates to expand their talents by participating directly in the testing of production software operating on Futurex's enterprise-grade data encryption hardware. Individual visibility within the team is high, and opportunities for rapid advancement exist. All levels of Futurex QA testers work directly with products using manual testing procedures in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment on products with a rapid time to market.

Qualified candidates possess the ability to test programs and systems based on defined requirements, to prepare test specifications, to write new test cases, to interpret technical information relating to software behaviors, and to communicate effectively. The position involves testing and extending both existing and new applications, as well as documenting methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Test and troubleshoot software and firmware developed for Futurex's line of applications and/or cryptographic devices and report conclusions in a clear and concise manner;
2. Develop new tests that validate new features, verify issue resolution, perform stress tests, and identify security weak points;
3. Consult with team members to develop, understand, and update requirements for product features;
4. Write and maintain testing documentation on subjects including API functionality and software issue creation/resolution;
5. Maintain confidentiality of information being processed, stored, or accessed.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in any field of technology. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, System Analysis and Development or Electronics & Computer Technology is preferred;
2. Comfortable with Linux and Bash (SysV and systemd);
3. Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking;
4. English language proficiency.

Strongly Preferred Experience

1. Familiarity with automated and manual software testing tools and frameworks;
2. Intermediate proficiency with Python (version 3 preferred);
3. Experience with version control software such as Git or Subversion;
4. Familiar with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) or any other cryptographic concept.

• A solid background in Software QA, encompassing both manual and automated testing for frontend and backend cloud-based applications.
• Expertise in test planning, design and execution, leveraging tools like Jira for requirement review and adhering to established testing principles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, Robot, Cucumber, etc.
• Programming/scripting skills in any language such as Java, Javascript/Typescript, GoLang, Python, C/C++ or other.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git).

• Running root-cause analysis for issues and proposing improvement actions

WHAT YOU BRING
• A solid background in Software QA, encompassing both manual and automated testing for frontend and backend cloud-based applications.
• Expertise in test planning, design and execution, leveraging tools like Jira for requirement review and adhering to established testing principles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, Robot, Cucumber, etc.
• Programming/scripting skills in any language such as Java, Javascript/Typescript, GoLang, Python, C/C++ or other.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git).
• Willingness to take ownership, drive new developments, and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues leveraging technical and product skills.
• High level of commitment, teamwork spirit, flexibility, and initiative.
• Good communication skills

Nice to have
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment workflows.
• Experience with API testing.
• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.

Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering.
