We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Video Editing Specialist to manage and grow multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in content creation, video editing, graphic design, and community management, with the ability to translate brand voice into engaging digital content.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain weekly/monthly content calendars.
- Research trends and propose innovative content ideas aligned with brand pillars (entrepreneurship, mindset, wellness, lifestyle).
- Write scripts and captions that are authentic, engaging, and conversion-focused.
- Edit video content (reels, short-form videos) with transitions, captions, hooks, and brand-consistent styling.
- Design social media assets, including story templates, carousel posts, and graphics for launches or campaigns.
- Schedule and publish posts using tools like Later, optimizing posting times.
- Engage with the community through DMs, comments, and collaborations.
- Track analytics, prepare performance reports, and recommend optimizations.
- Support campaign launches, events, podcasts, and product drops.
- Repurpose content across platforms to maximize reach.
- Proven experience in social media management and video editing.
- Strong copywriting and scripting skills.
- Proficiency with editing tools and graphic design software.
- Knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

As Junior Motion Graphics Designer / AV at Monks, you will be responsible for designing and producing high-quality audio and visual content for a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities- Develop and produce engaging audio and visual content, including videos, animations, sound design, and multimedia presentations for various platforms.
- Utilize advanced audio-visual technology and software to execute high-quality production, ensuring optimal sound and visual fidelity.
- Work closely with directors, designers, and other team members to translate creative concepts into compelling audio-visual narratives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines and workflows to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Review and critique audio and visual outputs to ensure they meet Monks' high standards for quality and creativity.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in audio-visual production, continuously seeking to enhance production techniques and methodologies.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.
- 2 years of experience in audio-visual development or production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing, sound design, and multimedia content creation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition), and familiarity with other audio-visual tools.
- Ability to think creatively and develop original concepts that resonate with target audiences.

What You’ll Make Happen
- Reviewing never-before-seen TV episodes before they’re released
- Using Adobe Suite to produce high quality short and long form video content for high profile US TV clients
- Designing new or working with existing motion graphics packages
- Suggesting creative solutions and putting forward own ideas for engaging and innovative content
- Self-evaluating and reviewing own work before presenting to line manager
- Developing own skills by learning from other team members and through independent research
Your Expertise
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
- A basic level of proficiency is definitely not a deal-breaker but willingness and determination to learn would be compulsory
- Knowledge of encoding and optimisation for specific social platforms
- Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent eye for detail
- Strong editorial sense both visually and in terms of storytelling
- Ability to adjust well to feedback and changing priorities
- High work-ethic and self-motivation

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Firstly, we will invite you to a first interview - Here you will meet James, our Video Editor and Motion Graphics Manager and Emily, our Lead Production Manager, in a 60 minute interview via MS Teams. It’s a mix of technical and culture-fit questions as well as providing you with more details about our projects and working in our team.
If the technical interview with James and Emily goes well, we will invite you to a final interview (30 minutes) with Nina, our Head of Content Production – it’s a mix of technical and culture-fit questions.
