About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for all SEM aspects of paid advertising for both the company and its e-commerce clients. This includes campaign execution, strategic planning, reporting, and ongoing optimization across Google, Microsoft, YouTube, and other platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize paid campaigns (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, etc.)
- Analyze performance data and develop data-backed strategies
- Create detailed reports and track KPIs
- Oversee contractors and collaborate with internal teams
- Bring fresh perspectives to improve results and solve challenges
- 5+ years in search engine paid advertising
- 5+ years of agency experience
- 3+ years in e-commerce
- Proficient with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Asana, Slack, Databox is a plus
- Strong communication skills (C1/C2 English preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts (10–15 simultaneously)
- Organized, analytical, and proactive mindset
Compensation: $3,500 - $4,000 USD/month

OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Strategist, SEM to join our rapidly growing Customer Strategy Team.
As a Strategist, SEM, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and be encouraged to learn and develop skills both within and beyond your role. You’ll be working surrounded by passionate, high-performing individuals. This role will be responsible for campaign strategy, launch, management, insights, and client/internal communications of assigned accounts to achieve client goals (mainly ROAS and revenue-driven).
The ideal candidate is a flexible team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and wants the opportunity to continually learn and grow.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in paid search and/or Google Shopping, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of advertising principles and campaign management strategies
- Proven track record of driving Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) growth for e-commerce clients
- Proficient in GA4 and Google Ads Editor
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
- *English proficiency required* — must be able to speak and write in the language fluently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Google AdWords or Google Analytics certification
- Experience interfacing with clients regarding paid search strategy and performance
- Track record of using data to craft narratives and drive decision making
- Experience creating reports, presentations, and other customer-facing deliverables
- Intellectual curiosity, with a strong desire to both learn and experiment in a rapidly changing industry
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Background in e-commerce or product-focused advertising
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage a book of 15+ small to medium accounts and ensure their overall satisfaction
- Provide health checks 2x a week and routine optimizations for all accounts
- Complete proactive audits for each account
- Work with the ASDs to support key accounts, supporting with optimizations, budget pacing ad hoc reporting, data pulls and more
- Maintain regular communication with CSMs to address any inquiries, requests, or concerns promptly and effectively
- Manage new launches of small to medium-sized accounts
- Join and able to speak on client calls as needed as an additional strategy resource
