REQUIRED SKILLS:

Salary and benefits

The estimated base salary range for this job is $170,000 - $15,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $212 500 - 290,250. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.

The Solution Expert’s mission is to manage the consistency between the business practices & processes for his/her domain and the underlying IT solutions. The Solution Expert assesses any new business needs requiring IT solution development and evolution, manages the realization of the functional requirements and validates the requested development, before user acceptance. This person is an expert within the Supply Chain business areas (Planning, Inventory, Manufacturing and Distribution) and works closely with the business owners to assist in business technology strategic development, solution discovery, and service management. This person serves as the functional point of contact for the Supply Chain business area and is the link to the various IT resources needed for successful implementation of business needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with each business line in the definition of business requirements and ensure scope of work and business cases are clearly defined within their projects.
  • Assists the business users and the technical support team in application support for critical issues.
  • Acts as the liaison between business users, PMO, and IT technical teams.
  • Ensure that IT resources (people, costs, systems, hardware) are aligned with business needs.
  • Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms
  • Drive IT innovation, best practices, and cost efficiencies to improve the financial and operational performance of the business operations
  • Documents the functional designs for all enhancements and projects.
  • Works with the technical teams in the execution and design of application enhancements and digital projects.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate IT personnel as needed
  • Assists in the execution of the Digital and IT roadmap.
  • Process improvement: Works with his/her team as well as with cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes. Continuously analyze the functioning of the activity, identifies causes of dysfunctions and proposes corrective measures accordingly.
  • Maintains an excellent relationship with key business stakeholders.
  • Assist the users (customers) in acceptance testing, developing procedures, and updating documentation.
  • Empower all users by creating a community of practice.
Requirements

Education, Training or Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years experience in two of the three areas: Business/Operations, IT, or Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Asset Management and Manufacturing processes and applications.
  • Experience with Oracle and SAP ERP systems

About our role:

Executive Supply Chain Partner (ESCP) serves as a trusted advisor to our members (clients) who are SVPs, EVPs and CSCOs from Global 1000 organizations and government agencies. The ESCP’s role is to engage each member-client, help identify mission critical priorities and key initiatives, and achieve specific enterprise goals. Activities may include defining, developing, coaching and/or critiquing strategies; helping develop and/or transform their organizations; advising with the development and execution of vision and strategy; aggregating and delivering Gartner research insights on key initiatives, priorities, and implementations; and, in general, acting as a consigliore for the SVP, EVP or CSCO. With the ESCP support, clients aim to achieve goals more quickly, more cost effectively, and with higher confidence of success.

What you will do:

  • Relationship Management: The ESCP manages up to 24 senior executive member relationships and participates in account planning with CSMs and Senior Account Executives. These three individuals collectively and individually have responsibility for each assigned account. The ESCP participates in all phases of the member lifecycle: pre-sale, on-boarding, relationship management, delivery, review and renewal. Success is defined by: executing a smooth hand-off from the sales team, regularly engaging the member in a substantive manner, creating a complete member profile, accurately identifying the member’s agenda, developing an engagement (value) plan, participating in quarterly account reviews and preparing value-added member meetings.

  • Sales and Marketing Support: The ESCP is responsible for member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities.

  • Research Support: The ESCP supports research activities, such as facilitating member participation in research studies or case panels. The ESCP will be aligned with and leverage Gartner research positions and initiatives as well as provide feedback from the member base to the research organization. The ESCP works with research analysts to develop and deliver CSCO relevant research.

  • Program Delivery - Define and deliver innovative solutions by assessing client member needs and developing a customized value plan in accordance with overall Gartner Supply Chain strategy and Gartner Supply Chain product deliverables. Work with client members in a variety of industries to further their levels of supply chain maturity through delivery of research, peer networking, and coaching. Critique client strategies, guide clients in building their organizations, and assist in developing supply chain strategies, establishing priorities, and planning for implementation around key supply chain initiatives. Establish and maintain working relationships with various internal groups to create a comprehensive, well designed sustainable set of key deliverables for clients (including targeted research, personal coaching sessions, scripted analyst sessions, etc.). Direct and facilitate member peer group calls and/or meetings.

  • Content Development and Management: Participate in presentations; participate in relevant research communities to keep topic area knowledge current and share member experiences with analysts; facilitate member interaction and collaboration through the supply chain member community portal and assist member connections; lead and participate in a mix of on-site and virtual roundtables and Gartner Exec Series Webex sessions.

What you will need:

  • Senior business executive with demonstrated topic knowledge in developing and delivering overall Supply Chain strategy, execution and performance improvement within the High-Tech space.

  • Current or former SVP, EVP of Supply Chain or CSCO who has managed a significant P&L, direct reports and a substantial number of associates. Candidate must have a broad base of expertise in Supply Chain Strategy and has driven change at all levels.

Other requirements:

  • A university graduate (Masters preferred) with 15+ years’ experience in a senior management role, such as a CSCO, SVP, EVP, or COO in a Supply Chain Executive level capacity; or 5+ years in the capacity with 5+ years in another Supply Chain Executive role, such as “Partner in Supply Chain Consulting”.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrate high levels of humility and the ability to work with C-level executives.

  • Strong reflective listening skills and the ability to adjust to client cues and needs.

  • An in-depth understanding of the Supply Chain industry and the CSCO role (including leadership, operations management, strategy and trends, metrics, etc.).

  • In-depth understanding of the business value of Supply Chain and the alignment of Business and Supply Chain strategies.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess member situations and provide actionable, outcome-based business advice, and the ability to leverage Gartner and other resources to help clients achieve results.

  • Ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; strong facilitation and presentation skills.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with other CSCAs to ensure the successful and on-time performance of Alcoa’s commercial contract obligations, specifically related to Alcoa’s sales and international trade activities across North America and the Atlantic region.

  • Ensure all internal and external customers have accurate and timely information.

  • Sales Order, Requisition, and Purchase Order Release (Ship-out, Drop-Ship, Expense) general administration for bauxite, alumina, and aluminum

  • End-to-end trade execution including hedging and application of index-based market pricing when required.

  • Provide up-to-date and accurate information and reports to the business as required and work closely with the shipping scheduling team to ensure shipping delivery is via agreements made with the customer.

  • Provide support to internal, external, and any international country-specific audit requirements.

What you can bring to this role:

  • Diploma or Certificate in a relevant supply chain discipline or related graduation in progress.

  • Advanced / Fluent English

  • Exposure to Foreign Trade and Logistics, or similar field.

  • Professional and customer-oriented attitude.

  • Microsoft skills including VBA, Power BI, and Macro development skills will be a differential.

  • Experience in transacting in an ERP desirable (SAP, Oracle, etc).

Qual será o seu papel?


Como Consultor(a) Sênior Supply Chain (Planejamento Integrado) , você fará parte da nossa equipe de Supply Chain e integrará times dedicados a ajudar nossos clientes com iniciativas transformacionais da gestão e solução. Assumindo as seguintes responsabilidades:



  • Atuar na elaboração e revisão de processos e ferramentas de planejamento integrado;

  • Seguir diretrizes do projeto para o seu bom andamento;

  • Seguir as atividades designadas no cronograma dos projetos de planejamento em tempo e qualidade;

  • Atuação em projetos relacionados à área de Planejamento nas mais diversas indústrias, e assumindo as seguintes lideranças técnicas dos projetos de elaboração de processos e ferramentas de Planejamento Integrado (IBP, S&OP, S&O, Gestão de Ordens).


Se você possui os requisitos abaixo, essa oportunidade pode ser sua:



  • Ensino Superior completo: Engenharias, ou administração;

  • Experiência em Consultoria em projetos de Planejamento Integrado e/ou Analista Sênior/Coordenação do processo de Planejamento Integrado na indústria;

  • Inglês Intermediário;

  • Espanhol avançado será um diferencial.
