Big Data Engineer

What You’ll Do
  • Work alongside Developers, Tech Leads, and Architects to build solutions that transform users’ experience.
  • Impact the core of business by improving existing architecture or creating new ones.
  • Create scalable and high-availability solutions, and contribute to the key differential of each client.
Here Is What We Are Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience working as a Developer (Ruby, Python, Java, JS, preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data (comfortable with governance, metadata management, data lineage, impact analysis, and policy enforcement).
  • Proficient in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Experience building data pipelines to handle large volumes of data (with known tools or custom-made ones).
  • Advanced English level.
Desirable
  • Building Data Lakes with Lambda/Kappa/Delta architecture.
  • DataOps, particularly creating and managing batch and real-time data ingestion and processing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality.
  • Modernizing enterprise data warehouses and business intelligence environments with open-source tools.
  • Deploying Big Data solutions to the cloud (Cloudera, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Performing real-time data visualization and time series analysis using open-source and commercial solutions.

Here Is What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience working as a Developer (Ruby, Python, Java, JS, preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data (Comfortable with enterprises' Big Data topics such as Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Impact Analysis, and Policy Enforcement).
  • Proficient in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Experience building data pipelines to handle large volumes of data (either leveraging well-known tools or custom-made ones).
  • Advanced English level.

Desirable

  • Building Data Lakes with Lambda/Kappa/Delta architecture.
  • DataOps, particularly creating and managing batch and real-time data ingestion and processing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality.
  • Modernizing enterprise data warehouses and business intelligence environments with open-source tools.
  • Deploying Big Data solutions to the cloud (Cloudera, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Performing real-time data visualization and time series analysis using open-source and commercial solutions.

About This Opportunity

As a Data Management Coordinator you play a vital role in ensuring that data is accurate and updated in our Master Data Management Systems. This position ensures timely and accurate updates of existing locations by insuring that they have valid addresses and other required master data information in the Master Data Management (MDM) system, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction within the organization.

This position is CLT and Fully Remote in Brazil . Benefits include health and dental insurance, meal and restaurant vouchers, fixed monthly stipend for internet and mobile expenses, InComm hardware/software, and annual bonuses! Professional English communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Process all incoming assignments within the standard 2 business days

  • Primary responsibility will be Location Maintenance in MDM to include but not limited to the following:
  • New Location Setups
  • Update Info to existing Locations
  • Location Name Changes
  • Location & Merchant Moves
  • Location Closures
  • Merchant Inactivation
  • Location Special Projects as assigned by the Manager
  • Track new location address adds in MDM for reporting purposes and any other metric information as needed
  • Work closely with Sales and Account Management for collection, review, update, and entry of master data information in MDM
  • Will support and work with the Contract Admin team and the FDT (Finance Data Team) team as it relates to data entry and updates and any other special duties as assigned by the Manager of the Data Administration Team (DAT)
Qualifications
  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Professional English communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheets and other related functions; must have experience using V-LOOKUP and other report comparison functions
  • Must be able to learn new skills and applications quickly
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and work well with others
  • Must be able to stay focused on project related tasks that are repetitive
  • Must be able to type at least 50+ wpm
  • Prefer Contract/Spreadsheet experience

  • Responsável pela gestão e sustentação de dados mestres (MDM) em SAP (ECC e/ou S/4HANA);
  • Apoio à migração de dados, qualidade e conformidade em ambientes ERP, MES e Supply Chain;
  • Participação em projetos de transformação digital e adoção de novas plataformas;
  • Interface com áreas técnicas e de negócio para garantir alinhamento entre processos e dados;
  • Atuação consultiva, promovendo boas práticas de gestão de dados e educação de stakeholders;
  • Compreensão de linguagens como ABAP para leitura e orientação de soluções sustentáveis.

Perfil desejável

  • Graduação em Ciência da Computação ou áreas técnicas/analíticas correlatas;
  • Sólida experiência em Master Data Management (MDM) , preferencialmente em ambientes SAP;
  • Experiência com grandes projetos de upgrade e conversão de dados;
  • Inglês avançado/fluente para atuação em ambiente global;
  • Vivência com projetos de migração, qualidade e governança de dados;
  • Capacidade de traduzir requisitos de negócio em soluções técnicas;
  • Perfil consultivo, com excelente comunicação e habilidade de relacionamento;
  • Familiaridade com processos de Governança de Dados, Analytics ou Qualidade (desejável).
  • Conhecimento em ferramentas de BI como Tableau ou Power BI é um diferencial.
