This HR leadership role will be responsible for the day-to-day
management of the HR function in selected assigned countries in the
LATAM region (currently Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and the
Dominican Republic). You will be reporting to the HR Manager -
Americas and serving as a member of the local leadership
team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for developing and implementing solutions to HR challenges in the division of its responsibility.
- Acting as HR Business Partner, in partnership with business leaders and with the support of the global HR team, supporting business goals and initiatives, guiding solutions, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement.
- Reviewing needs and providing feedback regarding the policies defined by the CEOs and the transactional activities of the HR Operations Team, aiming to contribute to the development, and implementation of strategies, sustainability, and profitable growth of the business while supporting its employees.
- Responsible for Business Partner activities in assigned countries, with a focus on performance, employee compensation, global mobility, labor relations, transfers, and migration processes with the support of the business and HR global team.
- Fiduciary responsible for all matters of labor relations, union relations, the establishment of local policies, and implementation of global policies.
- Collaboration with the holding's HR teams to implement systems and collaborate with new suppliers and global contracts.
- Benefits management and outsourcing management partnering and liaising with our third-party benefits administrators and broker.
- Management in partnership with the HR Operations and other HR teams all matters related to personnel, registration, payroll, benefits, position and salaries reviews, recruitment and selection, training and development, among others and projects.
Your background
- Education and professional background: Bachelor of Business Administration with specialization in one of the HR areas is desirable.
- Desirable Postgraduate Degree in People/Business Management.
- 9+ years of work-related experience. Relevant experience as an HR Business Partner, generalist knowledge of HR, T&D, R&S, compensation, and coaching.
- Knowledge of benefits management and personnel department routines will be a plus.
- Previous experience in Latin American management will be a plus. Fluent in English.
- Intermediate/Advanced Spanish is desirable.
- Leadership, influence and persuasion, teamwork, negotiation, and project management knowledge.
- People management, labor legislation, collective bargaining, process, and change management.
- Computer savvy and good knowledge of Microsoft products such as Office and Teams.
- Prior experience with HRIS systems, preferably with Workday.
