WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Technology Delivery team within the Enterprise Technologyexperts , part of Bain’s digital capabilities practice. In this multidisciplinary group, you’ll help clients modernize their tech strategy, architecture, and systems -- aligning technology with business goals to drive efficiency, agility, and innovation. You’ll develop enterprise-wide solutions, optimize cloud and data architectures, and integrate AI to enable scalable end-to-end digital transformations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Mission

  • Guide and support the day-to-day implementation of technology transformation projects, focusing on the delivery and operationalization of strategic initiatives to achieve significant outcomes and impact
  • Contribute to technology architectural and platform trade-offs, recommendations, and decisions as enablers of strategic priorities
  • Ensure alignment between technology strategy and implementation, orchestrating client and third-party teams
  • Help lead cross-functional teams in implementing project management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Focus on delivery assurance to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations, utilizing project management principles to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes
  • Improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of clients’ business processes and operations in the context of large tech transformations
  • Drive the implementation of large scale transformation programsto ensure efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendationsthat align with clients' goals and objectives
  • Identify issues, create hypotheses and execute analysis; translate data into meaningful insights; present recommendations to key decision makers
  • Move the client to action; develop a plan to implement the strategic recommendations; manage the execution
  • Coach and develop junior team members

Essential functions

  • Design and develop architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data infrastructure aligned with business strategy
  • Contribute to IT assessments, specifically assessing application and infrastructure architecture, to help surface pain points and opportunities in the context of enterprise transformations in line with benchmarks and best practices
  • Participate in end-to-end technology and digital transformation projects, solving the most pressing needs of our clients
  • Establish and implement PMO tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, LeanIX from inception, guiding the team through onboarding to ensure seamless project operations and efficiency
  • Execute project management activities, ensuring adherence to established methodologies, processes, and standards within the PMO
  • Help oversee the preparation and refinement of project deliverables, including comprehensive reports, workshop materials, and compelling business proposals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement of the project management process to enhance project delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
  • Support in managing and coaching teams to researchand understandthe client organization and industry; interview, conduct focus groups and facilitate workshops with client employees, management teams and other stakeholders
  • Identify and capitalize on value-creation opportunities in each client situation, ensuring that strategic initiatives translate into measurable business impact
  • Ensure the development and monitoring of business cases within technology transformation plans, guaranteeing the realization of their intended value and recommending corrective actions to maximize value capture
  • Organize the work of the team by allocating clear responsibilities among case team members
  • Manage and ensure execution ofquantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes
  • Prepare and finalize project deliverables, including reports, workshop materials, and business proposals

ABOUT YOU

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science / Engineering, Information management or other tech-related fields
  • Preferred: MBA, courses in digital/tech transformation

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in consulting, a start-up or other business environment, preferably within the Tech industry
  • Experience in architectural solutions for financial services, such as core banking implementation or modernization, payment solutions, internet banking, and other financial services technologies
  • Experience with project management for large tech transformations
  • Experience collaboratingwith other vendor partners (e.g., IBM, Accenture)
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Passionate about technology topics including architecture, process excellence, cloud, delivery assurance, etc.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices in program management, process improvement, and risk management to deliver tangible results and value through project management expertise
  • Experience in developing and managing client relationships driving collaboration and effective decision making
  • Adept at bridging software and systems expertise with business leadership requirements

Propulsion System Physical Architecture Engineer

On a given day, a Technical Architect will spend time:

  • Working with a team of RevOps Consultants, Program Managers, and Analysts to build best-in-class solutions and impactful technology roadmaps.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on the process of solutioning, leading the team through decisions on scalability, trade-offs, best practices, and the latest technology trends.
  • Developing and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other programmatic tools to support scalable RevOps architecture across GTM teams.
  • Designing and ensuring the quality of solutions with a higher degree of complexity, involving integration, high user or data impact, or user impact, particularly in CPQ and quote-to-cash workflows.
  • Leading the architectural strategy for CPQ optimization and implementation, including product and pricing configurations, approval workflows, contract generation and billing integrations.
  • Serving as a point of escalation for particularly challenging architectural components that require experienced input.
  • Up-leveling the architectural knowledge and skills of the broader consulting team, maintaining architecture and design principles, and providing coaching and mentorship.

About You

  • You have 8-10 years of experience in consulting or revenue operations space spent as an architect.
  • You bring deep knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash workflows, including experience configuring product rules, pricing strategies, approvals, contract management, and billing integrations.
  • You push learning and training efforts in one of the following areas as a primary focus: technical architecture, solution architecture, or CPQ.
