**Primary Purpose of this Position:**
This role is responsible for the effective administration, compliance, and execution oversight of international employee benefits and recognition programs, including health and life insurance programs, disability, wellness, ancillary prerequisites and other benefits related programs. The Manager leads a team of specialists and coordinates with internal stakeholders, vendors, and legal/compliance teams to ensure that all benefit operations are aligned with company policy, regulatory requirements, and employee needs. This role plays a key part in driving continual process improvements, employee experience enhancements, and harmonization of benefits practices throughout the organization.
**What will you be responsible for?**
+ **Overseeing Benefits and Recognition Procedures:** Managing day to day tasks and annual benefits processes, projects and renewals, including the development and implementation of Benefit and Recognition systems and providing a high level of structure and organization within the department.
+ **Managing Staff:** Hiring, training, and managing daily workflows of specialists and completing performance enablement reviews bi-monthly, monitoring goal setting and ongoing progress, coordinating regular team meetings. Ensuring backup coverage when staff leaves of absence or vacations occur.
+ **Ensuring Compliance:** Ensuring benefits practices and policies comply with relevant laws and regulations and audits.
+ **Coordinating with Other Departments:** Collaborating with Total Rewards COE, HR, Payroll, Communications, Audit and Finance teams to ensure coordinated day to day administration execution and support.
+ **Resolving Complex Issues:** Addressing and resolving eligibility, file feed, errors, vendor claim issues and other system related errors or discrepancies.Respond to escalations and resolve complex employee issues with professionalism and discretion.
+ Monitoring and tracking SLAs with vendors and setting internal standards for administration services for employees and other stakeholders.
+ **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, including financial, operational, and compliance risks; leads prospective or active mergers & acquisitions from area of accountability, providing leadership on integration or related activity.
+ **Communication and Collaboration:** Maintain open and frequent communication with vendors to address issues promptly and foster strong relationships
+ **Compliance Management and Tracking:** Ensure vendors and Benefits team comply with SOX and Balls internal controls policies. Ensure robust internal controls are followed and evidenced. This includes verifying adherence to financial reporting standards, maintaining accurate records, and following established policies and regulations to mitigate risks and ensure transparency.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Regularly review and improve vendor management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and attend vendor meetings on a regular basis. Use data to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements
**What we are looking for:** (Position Requirements)
+ Completed Bachelor's Degree
+ Advanced knowledge of International Benefits and compliance regulations
+ Proficient in international benefit plan designs, vendor management, and renewal processes
+ Excel and data analysis skills; working knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP)
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure
+ Solves complex problems, works independently, receives minimal guidance
+ May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives
+ Highly proficient analytical, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills
+ Handle sensitive and proprietary information with confidentiality

The Sr. Technical Vendor Manager is responsible for Performance Management, Capability Development and Risk Management of strategic Design & Construction service providers such as Consultants, General Contractors and subcontractors. The individual will build and maintain relationships with vendors and deploy strategies to efficiently deliver high-quality projects safely, on time and within the defined budget, looking for the establishment of partnerships and long-term relations.
Successful candidates will have strong level of ownership, bias for action and be highly motivated individuals who have Project/Contracts Management experience within the construction industry. The role will understand the details of Amazon buildings, and will deep dive on key construction partners by working in close collaboration with consultants, General Contractors and internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Pre-construction, Construction and Technology.
Key job responsibilities
Drive capacity assessment, collaborate closely with Pre-construction / Construction / Project Delivery Teams on vendor qualification and upskilling, ensuring vendor capacity.
Drive vendor capability assessment, develop and maintain Vendor Strategy together with Procurement Team
Metric analysis, leveraging data to gain comprehensive insights, evaluating key metrics and KPIs against organizational targets
Improve method to collect and sync feedback on vendors, seek out ways to automate and improve productivity
Have technical capacity to understand and improve KPIs on vendors performance as well as internal process.
Assess vendor risks consistently for tender input and support data driven decision.
Manage vendors performance ensure the delivery of CAPEX projects safely, on time and on cost.
Deep dive on technical details and lead problem-resolution, driving process improvements and lessons learnt, keeping productive relation between the organization and the vendors.
Leading critical escalations and claims and manage communication with leadership risks and mitigations.
Be a business partner with the Procurement, Pre-Construction and Construction teams, drive execution of horizontal initiatives.
Basic Qualifications

- - Analytical skills with aptitude for figures and data-driven argumentation
