The Product and Application Specialist is responsible for providing in-field technical applications support for Leica's current and "next generation" range of Life Sciences Research, Applied Solutions and Nanotechnology products in the Latin America region. She or he is expected to support customers by performing troubleshooting and training, support the service division for application support, and also engage with the sales division through application training and pre-sales visits.
This position reports to the Sales Manager, Life Sciences and Applied Solutions, Latin America and is part of the Sales Life Sciences and Applied Solution Division located in São Paulo and will be working remotely to cover Latin America.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide hands-on, scientifically grounded application support to customers, including system installation, training, troubleshooting, and post-sales optimization of advanced microscopy systems;
+ Support pre-sales activities by acting as a technical expert during customer evaluations and helping define tailored solutions based on scientific needs;
+ Deliver workshops, seminars, and technical training sessions to customers, distributors, and internal teams across Latin America;
+ Partner with Sales, Service, and channel partners to drive business growth through consultative engagement and technical enablement;
+ Develop deep expertise in Leica's product portfolio and apply solutions across diverse research and industrial applications, while monitoring market trends and competition.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ M.Sc. or PhD in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or any other Life Sciences related discipline ;
+ Proven experience with advanced microscopy or imaging systems (e.g., confocal, camera-based, or equivalent analytical instrumentation);
+ Experience providing technical support, application training, or customer-facing scientific support in research or industrial environments;
+ Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written
(it will be assessed during the interviews);
+ Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel approximately 70-75% of the time across Latin America, with occasional travel to Europe and the United States for training;
+ Flexibility for frequent travel and short-notice assignments;
+ Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

The Trade Compliance Leader LATAM is responsible for The LATAM Trade Compliance Leader is responsible for leading regional import/export operations across Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia), ensuring operational oversight, execution, and alignment with established compliance procedures and departmental objectives . + Strong working knowledge of import/export regulations, customs operations, and broker management processes across LATAM regions

The Logistics Analyst for service is responsible for Logistics, inventory management, including invoices, receipts/shipments, and third-party parts. Control of parts demand, inventory, importation, OSA - 0n Shelf Availibility, E&O - Excess and Obsolescence processes., Shipment and transportation of equipment and parts. Overall field service demands support.
This position reports to the Service Business Operations Coordinator and is part of the Service Department located in São Paulo - capital / SP and will be an on-site role.

The Assistant Controller (d/f/m) plays a key role in strengthening Leica Microsystems' global financial compliance and controlling framework. The position oversees all financial compliance and internal control topics (including SOX), driving excellence across the full lifecycle-from planning and risk assessment to issue resolution and continuous process optimization.
This position reports to the Global Controller, is part of the Corporate Finance team, and is designed as an on-site role.

The Tax and Accounting Manager Brazil is responsible for leading all accounting and tax operations for the Brazil organization, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, corporate accounting policies, and internal control standards. This role will oversee accounting close activities, tax compliance, financial reporting, statutory audits, and governance processes, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across finance operations.
This position will support the Controller Brazil in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, strong internal controls, and execution of all accounting and tax obligations for the Brazil operation.
This position reports to the Controller Brazil and is part of the Finance organization located in São Paulo, Brazil, and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Lead all accounting operations for Brazil, including month-end close, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and balance sheet integrity, partnering with regional and global finance teams to support reporting requirements, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Manage all direct and indirect tax activities, including tax calculations, tax reporting, tax compliance, and fulfillment of all ancillary tax obligations (obrigações acessórias).

The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering services to our customers, performing preventive and corrective technical services in line with good maintenance practices, the FST has an important role in delivering results within business expectations, as well as leading the installed base assigned to him/her for excellence in performance, the FST is the strongest link between the real needs of customers and Beckman Coulter organization, act as a business partner, leadership is essential in maintaining a high level of satisfaction and meeting customer needs. This position reports to the Field Service Coordinator Southeast and is part of Service Brasil located in São Paulo-SP and will be an on-site role.
This role's work hours are from Tuesday to Saturday:
- Tuesdays: 13h-22h
- Saturdays: 8h-17h
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Act in a customer-facing role, serving as the local technical reference for assigned accounts, while working collaboratively with peers and internal teams to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
+ Manage service demands versus priorities with a high level of autonomy, understanding the impact of actions on service metrics, response times, and operational continuity, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Support the service business by executing budget premises related to overtime, spare parts consumption, travel and expenses, ensuring effective use of Beckman Coulter resources and performance aligned with key service metrics.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Technologist or Engineering degree, or similar technical education. Solid experience (approximately 3-5+ years) in Field Service or Technical Services within IVD, diagnostics, laboratory, or similar industries.
+ Proven hands-on experience with pre- and post-installation activities, corrective and preventive maintenance, on-site and remote support, with ability to follow processes, manage KPIs, and execute action plans when deviations occur.
+ Ability to read and understand technical documentation and training materials in English; native or fluent Brazilian Portuguese communication skills.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Available for travelling >40% of worktime, be on site with customers.
+ Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for repairs, installations, maintenance, qualifications and calibrations of Cytiva equipment at customer sites around LATAM region.
This position reports to the Area Service Manager and is part of the Equipment Services - Hardware Solutions team working at customer sites to cover LATAM region.
What you will do:
+ Responsible for repairs, installation, maintenance, and calibration of Cytiva equipment at customer sites around LATAM region
+ Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Sales, Customer Service) and generate actionable insights
+ Team mindset to work with and support fellow FSE's and service team members
+ Sense of Urgency - must have the drive/motivation to act. Must be able to prioritize daily activities and determine what requires immediate attention
+ The engineer also supports sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction
Who you are:
+ Bachelors (engineering discipline)
+ 5 + years of prior field service experience in related fields on biotechnology companies, Laboratories, or medical devices industry
+ Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting, theory, and applications
+ Highly computer literate
+ English - fluent to receive technical training in English

The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that inform, engage, and inspire both internal associates and external stakeholders. This role involves creating compelling content, managing various communication channels, and supporting our brand reputation.
This position reports to the LATAM Sr. Marketing Manager and is part of the Latin American Marketing Manager located in Mexico City and will be an on-site role to cover Latin American Region.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Create Content: Draft, edit, and proofread a variety of communication materials, including press releases, internal announcements, newsletters, website content, social media posts, presentations, and marketing collateral.
